Nico's POV

Nico was falling, not for long, just eternity.

He crashed and landed in the pit, the hard rocks knocking the wind out of him. Every bone in his body felt broken-they should have been - but he forced himself to move.

It was just like he remembered, hot and smokey. As soon as he regained his balance, he started to walk.

He heard laughing. It was Nyx. He would know that laugh anywhere.

"Who's there?" He asked, unsheathing his sword and letting the purple glow illuminate his surroundings. He knew the darkness. He knew the underworld.

But this wasn't the underworld. This was out of his father's domain.

The shadows clung around his figure as he walked slowly, hearing the cracking of his bones unnerving. Why was he here again?

When Nico finally escaped the fog, he saw it again. The land scape was the blood red hills, with jagged black edges, and twisted black trees.

Below the cliff Nico was standing on, he saw Gaea's army.

The hyperion Giants, the cyclopes looking for armor, the wolves patrolling the area.

"Oh, Hades," Nico cursed.

Three basilisks lift their head, and stare at him.

So Nico did the only logical thing a demigod would do. He turned and ran.

The familiar blood curdling screech came from behind him, but he refused to look back.

The ground fell beneath each step. On Nico's left was a swamp, covered in a green fog. On his right was a cliff, and he had enough of those, so he kept going straight.

His body burned. He just wanted to stop running and let the monsters take him, but no matter how hard he tried, his legs kept sprinting.

Eventually, he found a safe spot nesled between two hills in a small red house with white trim. He rushed in and slammed a door.

The goddess in the house just smiled.

The scene was gone, and Nico woke back up, still in Tarturus. But this time, he heard voices. Gods, he hated those voices.

The twin giants were talking to Nyx. And Nyx was talking to him.

"Now, son of Hades, you live in th mortal world? I smell the daylight on you." Nyx chide, her voice was soothing.

Nico didn't say anything. He was still completely out of it. Nyx had her big black wings open, making her look bigger than she was (which was already really big)

"Well, Nico di Angelo, time for you to be the bait in our plan." Nyx smiled a crul smile and dropped him in The Jar. Leaving Nico with nothing but the pomegranate seeds in his pocket.

Nico shot awake, breathing heavily. He didn't realize he had tears streaming down his cheeks until one fell on his hand. He gasped and heaved until he got his breathing g under control.

"Neeks?"

Will, that was Will's voice. He was home with Will. He wasn't in the Jar. He wasn't in Tarturus anymore. It was just him, and Will.

Nico looked over at Will and pulled him into a hug. He felt Will tense under his grip but hugged back. Gods Nico needed that.

"Hey, Nico...do you want to talk but it?" Will whispered, he rubbed Nico's back softly. Nico shook his head into Wills's shoulder but then lifted his head.

"I do need some air though, do you want to come to the fire escape with me?" Nico's voice was broken and raw, but Will just smiled his godly smile and nodded.

They got up, Will tossed Nico a sweater. They stepped through the window (the window was now fixed and had a cool opening feature, which was good because fire)

The night was dark and not that cold. But Nico stood close to Will anyway. His partner was warm, despite being in a t-shirt and shorts, and his camp necklace. Will has never taken off his beads. Nico smiled softly and leaned against the rail.

"Six years," Will muttered, just loud enough Nico could hear.

"Only five since Apollo turned mortal," Nico whispered. Watching as Will shook his head and chuckled.

"I still remember meeting him for the first time. He was only a year older than us." Will shuttred, but smiling softly. "Oh, and he's coming for dinner one day. He hasn't decided which, though,"

Nico nodded. He didn't feel stressed, maybe scared, but that was how life was for half-bloods, scary.

Will hummed softly, watching the stars and the moon. Nico could swear he heard Will whisper "Hello Aunt Artemis"

The city was how it had been since the month they lived here in Gotham. Dark, and strange. Nico hasn't seem monsters at all, not even a hellhound. It was odd.

"You ready for bed, Neeks?" Will asked, looking out at the city, almost like he was watching something, Nico found it odd.

"Don't talk to me like a child, I am a grown man." Nico shot back, bit stood up and stepped through the window, and held a hand out for Will.

Will laughed and followed suit, walking g back to the room, Nico not far behind.

A/N: I have updated! I have been busy with work and trying not to die!

Don't worry, plot shit soon, but I needed something so flashbacks and fluff!

Last thing, should I start putting memes and art of the characters at the beginning?
