You were on your Aeroplane over to Roria, looking out the window while you start to wonder how you got here in life. You just wanted to get a starter Pokemon and begin your journey in Sinnoh, instead getting sent to another region for reason's unknown. But hey, at least he gave you some Pokeballs to start out.

"Chim Char!" A cry came,

You looked to your side and saw Chimchar looking out the window, seeing the world below in fascination before jumping estatically.

"Hey! Keep that down!" Someone from behind demanded,

"Oh! Sorry, I just got him! I promise I'll keep in under control," You turn to face the person.

"Brother! That's not you speak to someone!" A platinum blonde girl exclaimed at her brother's reaction.

Now that you got a good look at them, they had, matching hair, the guy's own seemed to cover one eye and he looked older. The other girl has her hair styled in a ponytail, they both had green eyes.

"Apologies, my brother doesn't talk much..." The girl says, "I'm Lillie, what's your name?"

"Glad to meet you. I'm Rory," You reply, albeit in a low voice. You really don't like the anxiety the comes when talking to someone new.

"Likewise." Gladion, I think his name was, replied coldly...? I can't tell from his tone.

"Heheh..." You utter as you slip back down onto your seat and stopped socializing, the effects still taking place.

"Chim! Chim!" Chimchar cries out, waving its hand as to get my attention.

I look down at the little guy with a curious face and say, "What's up, Gladiator?"

It then sat itself on the seat and started spinning on its but, raising its hands in the air and moving rapidly.

"Heheh... Good work." I said, opting a cheer from Gladiator the Chimchar.

I start to think back to how this all started.

Flashback

"I just have to slip out and-"

THUD

I fell out of the window and hit my face. At least I didn't damage it too bad...

"Uhhh..." I let out, dazed.

"Rory! Where are you?!" The voice of my mom calling me reached my ears.

My brain couldn't even think before my body started running to route one, the voice fading out and how I out-sped the guy who'd use to stop me from going. Drifting into the tall grass I spin a swerve around the Pokemon, avoiding some Quick Attacks until I got hit with some slashing move I was sure I could avoid.

"Gaah!!" I scream in pain.

"Star-ly!" The wild Pokemon that had hit me was a Starly, but it seemed a little stronger...

I didn't even bother to wait as my body continued running through the tall grass until I reached Sandgem town, reaching the lab.

DRIP

The attack hadn't hit that hard, but hard enough to make a hole in my shirt and a minor cut on my body. This will take a while to clean...

LATER

You got back to Professor Rowan's lab to request for a Starter Pokemon. Knocking on the door, you waited until you got a response, which was 5 seconds after knocking as a bluenette had opened the door and slammed a Pokeball in your face.
