Sitting at his desk, a pen in his hand as he reads through his findings on the open investigation he had written up, he doesn't see Detective Martinez walking into his office.

A smile softly plastered across her lips as she watches Henry concentrate, she can't help but find it charming, the way he dips his eyebrows, squinting slightly as he reads the sheet of paper in his hand while tapping his pen against the desk in the other.

She clears her throat after a few seconds, to catch his attention. Henry looks up, expecting to see Lucas but is pleasantly surprised when he sees Jo.

"Jo, what can I do for you?" He asks in his thick London accent that brings Jo Martinez weak to the knees.

"We have a suspect in custody if you'd like to come and observe." Jo offers.

Henry smiles and nods his head, standing up and walking toward Jo with his navy blue trench coat and scarf over his arm.

Henry goes to the observation room and watches on as Detective Martinez drills their suspect.

He doesn't quite hear what she's saying as he zones out. His eyes never leave her though. All he can think of is how shes changed him.

What he had said to her the previous night, about how what kills us is not what stops our hearts from beating but prevents us from living, he was talking from experience.

Every day it becomes harder and harder to live, and even if he wanted to end it, he can't. So he's forced to wake up every day and go to work, with no other reason to wake up of a morning, that is, until now...until her.

"Henry." He turns to see Detective Hanson.

"Yes Detective?" Hanson rolls his eyes, smirking slightly.

"The guy's signing his confession. The interrogation is over and someone needs the room." Henry nods his head and walks out.

As he turns to his right he sees Jo walking out of the interrogation room.

"Well done Detective." Henry says enthusiastically, trying to cover up the fact that he had no idea what she had said to the man to get him to confess.

Jo smiles and thanks Henry. She wouldn't admit it to anyone, not even herself but she was nervous in there.

Every time she knows Henry is watching, she becomes nervous. Wanting to impress him and not make a fool out of herself.

"Should we celebrate?" Jo asks hopefully.

Henry smiles and nods his head.

"How about instead of drinking again, you come over and have dinner with Abraham and myself." Jo smiles and nods her head.

She honestly doesn't care how they celebrate as long as they celebrate together. As long as he is near her she's happy.

Henry nods in conclusion and offers his arm to Jo, a gentleman's gesture. Jo blushes slightly but links her arm through Henry's, letting him lead her to her car.
