She barely had time to shower since Ed was taking up most of what little time they had to get ready puking in the bathroom and not letting her in. He didn't have much to say to her as he paced around while they waited for their escort to come and get them. She didn't have much to say either. All she knew was from the tone that Blake had been using, whatever he wanted to see them about wasn't going to be a good thing either. There was a chime at the door and Ed stopped pacing then turned to look at her.
"Just know, whatever happens here whatever you have to do to me or...to anyone else, I won't feel any different about you." He said looking her right in the eye. She nodded.
"I feel the same way." She said. He stepped towards her then gave her a quick hug before going to the door. He reached to press the button to open it but the door slid back before he could, revealing that Avery guy from the day before. He was dressed similar to how Blake was yet still a bit more professional than that. She could see he was armed and had a weapon in a holster around his waist. Though she could probably easily get the weapon away from him that wasn't going to stop anyone else on the ship from attacking her or Ed and she needed to keep that in mind.
"I'm here to escort you to breakfast."
"Alright then." Ed said, picking up his fake accent that he'd been using since they'd arrived there. He grabbed the leash that he'd used for her before and attached it to the collar she was wearing. Giving it a tug he headed out of there and she waited to walk behind him for a few steps. They weren't taken very far, just to the lift that had brought them to these rooms in the first place.
It was then that they were led back through the atrium and towards Blakes's quarters. She didn't know what Ed was possibly thinking but it wasn't like she could ask because speaking out of turn was against the rules and she was still under the impression she couldn't blow their cover. Maybe Blake wanted to see them about something totally benign but she kind of doubted that seeing as how coming to breakfast wasn't a request.
When they got to his office they were taken through the front area into the back which opened into a large living area. It seemed like he also had his quarters up here, which made sense. It would be harder to breach and drop a surprise attack on him if where he lived was quite far from the rest of the rooms on the station. There was food on the table and Blake was sitting at the head of it. As she stepped in behind Ed she was grabbed and quickly put into restraints. Her arms were twisted behind her back and locked in place. Though she tried her best to struggle to get out of them or break them, she found that she couldn't. Her head turned to see another familiar face. The one what Avery had mentioned was his brother and some sort of special case. Whatever that was supposed to me.
"Oi! What's the meaning of this then?" Ed demanded looking at Blake.
"Going to keep up with that act are we?" Blake chuckled looking some very odd combination of smug and amused that was just down right evil. He picked up the mug that was sitting by his plate of food and took a sip. "I know who you are, we all do. Didn't think to get rid of the data from the shuttle....Captain?"
"Are you freaking kidding me?" She snapped without meaning to, she was just very stunned that Ed hadn't done that in the first place. There was no possible way he could have been that stupid. Ed turned to glance at her just as she was hit in the side with what felt like an electric shock, strong enough to bring her to her knees. She let out a strangled cry but went silent shortly after. That shock would have done far more damage to a human. Blake definitely knew what he was dealing with when it came to Xelayans. That was for sure.
"No he did that, to the best of his ability I suppose but there are ways around it when you have good hackers." Blake motioned to the guy standing behind her. She turned to look, blinking a few times to clear the tears from her eyes. "Now, what are we to do with you? We don't like spies."
