Ada
"so do you guys live together?" I ask, we were walking back towards our school, he was wrestling traviswalking with me, it was sorta cute he knew how to look after kids. he was all fun and games but seriously was taking travis being a kid into consideration."yeah.. my momma knows syds parents she's chill" he answers, his voice raspy and deep he clears his throat looking at travis running infront of us, the hot air blows slower as a crack of thunder fills the area, I jump slightly startled. clouds slowly roll in.
"shit it's gonna rain" Tyler says in a tired groan. he begins to talk again "we can go to my house if you want" he asks going quiet again, his head hung down low as he asked me.
"uhm ok!" I reluctantly agree , his face lit up slightly. he looked at me smiling as a raindrop slowly fell on my cheek, followed by another, the rain started to get heavier. the sky grew darker , the wind pelted almost blowing his stupid hat off.
"taco we going back home" Tyler calls out cupping a microphone, Travis nodded still continuing to run Infront of us, the rain pattering on the pavement. Hawthorne was turning ghost , all old People moving in, nobody would come outside.
Tyler's arms swung beside me as we walk side by side, our hands accidentally touching eachother, but when I would pull away Tyler kinda felt like he didn't wanna let go.
------------------the rain fully drenched us all as we walk into Tyler's house, it was cozy the interior made it look so warm. Tyler walks Infront of me. taking his shoes off and walking up to his mom on the chair watching TV.
"sup ma, this is Ada" Tyler introduces me as I sheepishly smile. waving from across the room, I take my shoes off slowly walking towards them. I was wet and I didn't feel like meeting anyone, I looked horrendous, I force I polite smile as I work up the courage to speak, I clear my throat looking down at her.
"hii... I'm Ada!" I smile looking down at her, she smiles back so sweetly, her eyes crinkle as she pulled me into a hug.
"I'm Tylers mom, your a beautiful girl darling. Very pretty honey." she lets go from the hug still smiling, my eyes begin to water, my mom never treated me like that, never called me beautiful girl, barely hugged me. my face feels flustered as I almost ball my eyes out right then and there.
"where's the bathroom if you don't mind me asking?" my voice cracks slightly, as Tyler's mom directs me I swiftly walk away eyes welling with tears, my nose sniffs as I sit on the toilet seat. I felt so stupid and dramatic. the way she held me and called me beautiful.
15 minutes pass
two knocks startle me as I answer in a cracked tone.. my lips were dry and my eyes were puffy and red from rubbing tears away. I snifflle before answering and opening the door.
"yeah..?" my watery eyes look up to Tyler with a caring smile on his face holding a pink frilled bag in his hands, he scratched the back of his head before he speaks.
"uhh so you were in the bathroom for kinda long and uhm... like this is lyndas stuff for when she's uhh like bleeding or something like her uhhh period and yeah" he hands me the back and I let out a teary laugh, I looked so stupid right now.
"thank you tyler, sorry I gotta be like this. crying in your bathroom" I smile looking at him , he's not the person I expected him to be , in class he's loud an obnoxious and rude, but he's sweet and thoughtful and caring to me and people around him.
I hug him, all my emotions are through the fucking roof , it felt like right now he was the only person who cared. His arms wrap around me , he pulls me in slowly he smelled good. he had a weezer shirt on and black sweats.
"I'm sorry your bleeding out your vagina" he says in a sincere tone, he sounded serious and concerned. I couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"no silly it's not that"
