Chapter 5 Connections

Goddess POV.

OH MY ME! WHAT HAVE I DONE! I never ever in my existence did such a mistake! How could this be?! And i can't even undo it! I was about to reincarnate those souls and i switched the places! Bai get to the world where Lumen are like the prime noble women's and the three girls got where Bai should be and i can't do anything about it because their lives already started AGH! What should i do, if this gets out to the God's council then it will be a mess!
Okey, first of all let's see what they are up to. Hhmm Bai is doing good, she met a nice older couple, and they adopted her as their daughter and now they sent her in school to learn everything she will need. Good, good, that is better than i expected.
Well then what about my Lumen girls. They have a tree house? That is better as well than i expected. I hope everything is going to be fine. I don't want to make a Goddess intervention with dreams and all. It's such a hassle to deal with these things and they just give me a headache, but my Lumen's. I'm so worried about it. I hope this will turn out just fine. If it weren't those little newbies then this wouldn't happen, but i can't just stop this. Everything will change and they switch places. I think the best i can do now is to observe them from the heavens.

Samantha POV.

Winter was still full on charge in the weather and we had more guest to come to our home for advise or medicines. Along the way it turned out Andrew confessed; he wasn't the little girl's father but her brother. He was afraid we wouldn't help if the truth came out. He apologized to us and made a vow to never do it again. Of course, Angelica was the most attentive to this turn of event. She and Adrew grow closer. I even risk she started to fall in love with him. One of these days he was in our home and helping around mostly Angelica. "Lumen females why don't you move to our village? I think you would be safer there and you could work with our healer as well. You can't live alone all the time, you need protection. I know you have powers to hide yourselves from danger, but I think it wont work forever." Then silence followed for minutes. "Sorry if I bother you with this... I just worried about you.." Adrew then locked eyes with Angelica, and I could see they feel the same way. "We were just scared because we lost our home because of a massive storm. We didn't know at the time if we could trust anyone around here and besides it is still winter or as you guys say cold season." I said to him. Adrew nodded, understanding our situation. Rosalind added. "But we can move in there, if there is an empty house when spring is here. Also, you said you have a healer of sort, can we meet him?"
"Yeah, I want to meet him as well. We can share knowledge, and I can teach him how to make paper so he can write down his experience to keep records." I finished her thoughts. We all agreed with this one idea, that whatever happens, we make notes, so we won't forget where we came from.. "I can call him here! But I don't know if he can find you because of the talismans.." I locked my eyes with him and an idea formed in my head. "Why not cominghere the both of you? It could work that way I think, but do not tell anyoneabout this because it will endanger us, okey?" He nodded enthusiastically with a smile.

Adrew POV.

As I said my goodbyes to the three Lumen females, my heart started to sink to loneliness. Already missing Angelica, I want to be her male, her mate, but I must wait until the cold season pass or what they call it winter. I walked slowly to my village and stopped by Harvey's hut. Knocking on his door, waiting for an answer. "Who are you knocking this late..? Oh Adrew, what brings you here? Are your sister ill again?" I shook my head and went into his house without a question. "I made a deal with them.. They said if I bring you along to share your knowledge as well as them then when the warmer season comes, they will move to our village and work together with you healing our people. I thought maybe if all of them get to know us then they will choose mates from our village. So, I came to you to invite you... come with me to visit them." Harvey just standing there dumbfounded, but a little smile formed on his face. He closed his house door and sit down one of the hide on the floor. "That would be great. I heard all three of them are females. Is that true?" I nodded and continued. "Yes, but Lumeniens only can be females, that is what they told me. Male can't be born as a Lumenien." As the information sinks into his mind, he promptly stands up. "They aren't safe in there we have to bring them to here!" Then I waved to him to calm down. "Harvey ease your mind, they are good for now. Samantha made some type of talismans that are preventing to anyone find them if they have ill intentions. It will be okey for now. I saw it how it works and trust me it works damn well." Harvey registered the information with a nod. "Tomorrow after we eat, we can go there. I don't have any obligations on that day. I want to meet them." I let out a deep breath ease my mind with it. In the last couple of days, I always speak about them, but I don't give out much about Angelica because I want to be his male first. I already miss her so much. I know it's selfish of me, but I just can't help it. Her eyes, her voice, her beautiful hair, I want to touch them so badly. I tried to get closer to her when I went to visit and saw that she wasn't against my attempts to court her. Maybe I have a chance with her. She is just so... beautiful.
After I ate at Harvey's place I went home. I'm lucky that I have my own house in our village, if not I have to live with my mom and I can't protect my sister from her. She is just vile; how can she be jealous of a little female who is only three cold season old?! It makes me angry every time. I told Angelica and the others about my situation with my family and Angelica was super nice to me. At home i notice that my sister is in my house again. I sit down next to her and immediately start a fire. It's cold outside and I don't want my sister get sick again because of my mother miss treatment. Then I lift her up in my lap to warm her more, she just humming a little bit but sleep peacefully. I can't wait for the warmer season to come. I also tried to copy the fireplace what they had so it would be safer for me and my sister and keep us warm and cozy. The covering fur and the firewood crackling noise slowly drifted me to sleep as well with a hope in my heart that after some time Angelica would be with us here...

~next day~

I got up swiftly, my sister still clinging to my arm and hair. 'It seems like she will come with me.. oh well I bet she will be happy seeing Angelica again.' Me and Harvey meet at his hut and then I lead us where we can find the three Lumeniens home in the forest. When we entered their barrier, Samantha was already out crafting something with a weird smell. "Samantha!" She shot her head up and she welcomed us with a warm smile. "Adrew its good to see you, and you brought your little sister as well. Go inside. Angelica has already started to make some breakfast, I think she will need some help, but she never will admit it." She laughs at her older sisters antics. I look at Harvey and see on her face that Samantha stole his heart. Feeling that I should go leave them be I turn to her. "Then I go in and help. Its better make it two than one." With that I go inside and greet Rosalind and Angelica, aaah.. my beautiful Angelica. They wave me and I go to help my sweetheart with the breakfast but before that I put my sister on one of the couches.

Harvey POV

Adrew was as he said 'love struck' because one of the Lumenien females and it irritated me. They are not just stealing my work but made me feel useless and depressed so that I can't help my patients. I couldn't understand why he was so enthusiastic about them or more like this Angelica female. But I viewed everything differently as I saw Samantha. She was so beautiful for my eyes. Now I can understand why he was so 'love struck'. No wonder he was gone with the first light. I shocked my head to clear it and walk to her. "Hi...om.. I'm Harvey." Samantha immediately looked at me with a surprised face. Was I disrespectful? I hope not... I want to hope I can be with her.. Then unexpectedly she smiled at me, and oh my little me I was gone back and fort to heaven and the beast realm. "Hi... Harvey.. sorry about my late greeting.. I just dint count it that my dream man come out of nowhere..." She whispered the last sentence, but our hearing is very good, even better than wild animals. I tried to hide it how happy I am to hear her words about me. The storyteller said that sometimes Lumeniens dream about their future mate and I was in Samanthas dream! Woow! "C-can I help you with whatever you make right now?" I asked hopefully to spend more time with her. "Of course! I make some paper so I can continue to be copying out my books." Samantha showed me every step. How to dismantle the twigs then make in soft paste into pot then how to shape it into this piece of paper. After that she put another thing into my hand and started to talk aboutthe alphabets and how it can form a book and how it will help to the futuregenerations to remember and learn unknown knowledge. To be honest I didn't know any of this but she was kind, patience to explain everything to me. And i? I just drink her words with my ears, to learn, to be closer to her world. "So to summarize what you said, its kind of like keep our ancestors memories alive in a way, am I right?"
"Exactly! I'm happy that you understand me." She smiles widely at me and continues our work. Even if it's cold outside here, I feel warm inside my heart. This time we spend together is precious. As we set the paper pieces onto the dryer we talk about, from cooking with herbs, which i didn't know is even possible, to what kind of fruits she likes and plus talked about some that are edible for every creature in the world. I could stay for lunch and dinner too. It was a happy day for me, it's just a little bit sad that I have to go back my empty cold hut. I didn't want to go... Samantha was even worried about me, 'how are you going to get home in this weather?' She give me some kind of cape thing called hoodie to keep me warm. It was my first ever gift, and a female give it to me! I never heard of getting a gift from a female, not even mated males get this privilege. The hoodie really is warm when I wear it. It makes me comfortable and cozy. "Thank you, Samantha. This is really cozy warm, like you said." She held her head high with a cute little smile. And if I would know better i saw a bit of blush on her cheeks. "Told you. Hoodies are the best when it's cold, but quickly go home! I don't want you to get sick because of me." We waved goodbyes. Me and Andrew walked slowly in silence next to each other. I know what he was thinking. Three females in the forest alone without protection of their mates?! That is unacceptable! Adrew was right, they can't stay there alone. When the warm season is here i help them move to our village, so they can be at ease without using so much of those talisman things.
After I got back i immediately look for our village chief to speak about their moving into our territory. Luckily, he is a kind leader and said he will issue an order to build a new house for them, of course with their consent. When i finish talking to the chief with a lighter heart i went home to finally sleep my tiredness out meanwhile thinking about Samantha with a hope for a joint future and family.
