Pond sat on the couch with his arms crossed. "Nope. I’m not moving. I live here now."

Joong dragged himself to the recliner. "I’ve retired from parenting. Effective immediately."
Dunk collapsed onto the floor with a blanket over his head. "Same."
Earth kicked off his shoes and sprawled on the other couch. "We’re officially on strike."
Mix peeked out from behind his hoodie. "Do they even know what that means?"
"Doesn’t matter," Boun mumbled, face down on the armrest. "We’re unavailable."

Park peered around the corner, whispering to Finn. "Why are they all lying down like that?"
"They’ve been... defeated," Finn whispered dramatically.
Haru poked her head out from behind a chair. "What’s wrong with them?"
"They’re sulking," Ethan said knowingly. "This is what happens when adults give up."
May crossed her arms. "We broke them. What do we do now?"

"Too late," Joong muttered from under the blanket.
"Promises mean nothing," Dunk groaned. "It’s too quiet now... which means you’re planning something worse."

"Or a vacation," Fourth muttered.
"A vacation... without kids," Earth added with a grin.

The parents exchanged amused looks.
"This is... weirdly satisfying," Joong whispered to Dunk.
"Yeah. Let them taste their own medicine," Dunk replied, grinning under the blanket.

"Oh, now you want to play?" Pond teased.
"We thought you were bored of us," Phuwin added with a smirk.

"Fine," Mix said. "But if we see glitter again..."
"We’re retiring for good," Phuwin added, grinning.

Finn tried to cheat during Monopoly, but Joong caught him. "Nice try, kid."
May built a fort with the couch pillows, and Park made everyone popcorn.
"See?" Phuwin said, grinning at Pond. "We’re great parents."
"For now," Pond replied with a laugh, pulling Phuwin closer.
As the movie played and the kids settled down, the parents exchanged tired but happy smiles.
"Parenting is exhausting," Boun whispered to Prem.
"But... it’s worth it," Prem said, watching the kids huddle under a blanket.
"Most of the time," Dunk added with a smirk.
"Let’s just enjoy this peace," Fourth whispered. "Before they start planning something else."
