Chapter 5

The doctor comes in, 1 minute late as expected.

I stared up at the ceiling, as usual, for the 16 minutes I had to wait until a doctor or nurse came in.

"Here you go, drink up" He says, handing me a glass of water which probably has the medicine in it.

I can hear, at least I'm not deaf.

I pour down the cool, refreshing water and slosh it around in my mouth, as the doctor told me to do, until I can taste the bitterness of the medicine.

Then I swallow, and the cold water goes down my sore throat, easing the dryness in my throat.

"Thank you very much" I say, after swallowing the water.

"That's okay, my name is Clover, you'll be okay Ash, wait, that's you name right?!" She checks the paper taped to the end of my bed and reads it quickly.

"Yeah, my names Ash, I can't remember what my last name is, but yeah" I say, stopping her from continuing to read the paper.

"Okay Ash, I'll be in my office down the hall if you need me" She smiles and walks over to the door.

"Bye" I smile back and watch her walk out the door, shutting it quietly behind her.

Is there a mirror around here?!

If there is, could someone help me up so I can see myself?!

No.

I'm gonna have to wait again, and as you know, I hate waiting.

Damn it.

I lay down and roll over, staring at that person with cuts and bruises in the next bed over.

I can't seem to see if it's a women or a man, it really doesn't matter.

Whoever it is, they haven't talked since I've been here, maybe they're traumatised or something.

Whatever.

I still haven't got my memories back, apart from that I know my name, but that's because I looked at the paper, not from memories.

I sit up again, looking around the room, thinking of maybe escaping if I was really desperate.

Does this mean I have to wait again?

I have to wait 500 hours just to get a mirror.

Maybe not that long, that's kinda exaggerating.

I have to wait at least a couple hours, damn.

I'm only rambling on about all this stuff because I'm trying to get my mind off things, and plus, I'm really bored.

My name is Ash

Ash Hughs, I think, that's what the paper said.

Well, the paper didn't say it but, the writing on the paper stated that my name was Ash Hughs.

Blah blah blah.

I wonder what it's like outside, outside this place, I mean.

I could be at school hanging out with my friends, if I had any.

I can't remember.

It's been like, two or three minutes.

Just a couple more hours left.

Ugh.

Waiting . . .

Chapter 6

I swear I have waited for like, hours and hours, and they still haven't come yet!
