Aghhh! It's surprisingly satisfying! And I need to beat them I only beat the newer ones! I got every star in mario galaxy all 121 and it was crazy I also got all the stars in mario galaxy 2 all 242 stars I think all the Green stars were weird to find. I mean that game is crazy!! The hundred purple coin challenges! You were sometimes timed or freaking Luigi's 100 purple coin challenge! The floor falls so you have to memorize the way to get all of them and use maneuvering techniques perfectly. That was too much! And the soundtrack was good like Cosmic cove or space junk! The soundtracks were perfect for the scenery!
But my greatest sin is my disorder, restart mario sunshine and mario 64 disorder... I restarted them like 20 times making sure I collect all stars or blue coins, but I ditch them and forget about them there is like 120 in each and 140 in mario 64 ds. Sigh, you really lose track of the hidden stars, and coins! In mario 64 especially look up at the sun BAM now you got teleported to a secret level, talk to toad he give you a star, and then collect 100 coins in every place to get stars... no thanks.. lol one day when I feel like it.
I also am ashamed that I have not completed the 3 hearts challenge. I beat every zelda game 100 percent, but I never beat the 3 heart challenge. The challenge is you go through the game not ever collecting heart containers and you end up with bosses that one shot you :D. I only did it with skyward sword which is technically a 6 heart challenge but then there is hero mode.... I'm not sure if I beat it in hero mode or not. My brother did the 3 heart challenge for ocarina with green gauntlets I did a weird glitch and made the gauntlets green. Not even sure how that worked anyway ping pong with ganon is intense, he kills you in one hit so its pretty fun! Especially if you do it while spinning around in a circle!
But there is still the mario game boy games every stage had a 5 dragon coins and all this crap...sigh.
