The morning after their harrowing experience in the Slytherin common room, Rhea awoke feeling both exhausted and exhilarated. The memory of the binding spell lingered in her mind, a mix of fear and triumph flooding her senses. She turned to the side, where Draco lay asleep, his features relaxed in slumber, a stark contrast to the intensity of the previous night.

Rhea gently brushed a lock of hair from his forehead, her heart swelling with warmth. Despite the darkness that had loomed over them, they had faced it together. And in that shared moment of vulnerability, something had shifted between them—an unspoken understanding, a bond deeper than either had anticipated.

"Hey," he murmured, stirring awake. He blinked at her, his silver eyes still heavy with sleep. "What time is it?"

"Late enough that you should be getting up," she replied with a teasing smile.

He chuckled, stretching lazily. "Just five more minutes. I had a really strange dream."

"What about?" Rhea asked, genuinely curious.

Draco hesitated, a flicker of something crossing his face. "About the magic... and you."

Her heart raced at his words. "What happened?"

"Just that it was stronger than we imagined. That we weren't alone in this fight." His voice turned serious. "I think the darkness is still with us, waiting for a moment to strike."

Rhea felt a chill crawl up her spine. "We can't let that happen. We have to stay vigilant."

Draco sat up, running a hand through his tousled hair. "Agreed. But for now, let's just focus on getting through the day. We can't let it consume us."

After they dressed and made their way to the Great Hall for breakfast, Rhea felt the atmosphere had shifted. Students whispered among themselves, eyes darting nervously, and the usual clamor of conversation was replaced by an uneasy silence. Rhea exchanged glances with Draco, both sensing the change.

As they sat at the Slytherin table, Pansy and Blaise joined them, their expressions tense.

"Did you hear?" Pansy said, her voice barely above a whisper. "There have been sightings of strange creatures near the Forbidden Forest. Students are disappearing, and some say it's connected to dark magic."

Rhea felt her stomach drop. "What do you mean, disappearing?"

Blaise leaned in, his voice low. "A few first-years went missing last night. No one knows where they are."

Draco's jaw tightened, and Rhea's heart raced. "We have to find them," he said firmly. "We can't let the darkness take anyone else."

"Are you insane?" Pansy exclaimed. "The Forbidden Forest is dangerous! We can't go in there!"

"It doesn't matter," Draco replied, his voice unwavering. "If there's a chance they're connected to whatever magic we've unleashed, we need to act."

Rhea nodded, her determination matching Draco's. "We can't ignore it. We need to help."
