Chapter 4: Our Swordsman

While Luffy and Koby stayed behind with Zoro to try and free him, you didn't waste any time and entered the main tower of the base, there weren't many guards around as most of them are actually on the roof, struggling to complete captain Morgan statue with the latter supervision.

Unfortunately though, some of the marines still noticed the fact how Luffy and Koby are trying to set the pirate hunter free, captain Morgan swiftly switched his focus onto the two newcomers and began to mobilize his troops to go after the two.

Still though, this proved to be quite a convenient distraction for you, as there were barely any marines left to guard the place.

You sneaked up behind a single marine standing guard on the main hallway, then you wrapped your arms around his neck from behind.

You then choke the marine and render him unconscious, his body goes limp. You drag the marine away and hide his body in the closet.

After that, you continue to sneak around for the time being, it doesn't take long before you notice that the door to what looks like the main office, Captain Morgan office, is open.

You approach and take a peek, only to notice a familiar figure of an orange haired girl, the same one you first met briefly back on Bushybeard pirates ship, Nami. The mentioned female herself looks preoccupied with safe that's in the wall, trying to break in. Two unconscious and tied up marines can be seen at the corner of the office.

"Who would've thought i'd see her again so soon..." You thought to yourself, a small fond smile forming on your face.

You decide to step inside and have a bit of a conversation with Nami, hoping that maybe she has a better layout of the place and can point you in the direction where Zoro swords may be.

"Yo, Nami. Wasn't expecting to run into you again this soon." You tell casually and calmly, your voice and all the more presence alone coming off as a shock for Nami who's been distracted with the safe, she's startled and jumps up as she lets out a yelp.

"God... You scared me... I thought you were another marine..." Nami told after a brief moment as she took in deep breaths in and out to calm down.

You merely let out a small chuckle in response as you whip out a cigarette along with a lighter, you lit up the cigarette and begin to smoke it as you give Nami a brief moment to calm herself.

"Are you following me or something? I'm really flattered but... I'm too busy trying to gather up enough cash, i don't really have much time on my hand, unfortunately." Nami teased lightly as she shot you a playful wink with a smirk on her face.

"I'm not following you, i'd call us meeting here more so of an coincidence. I'm actually here looking for Roronoa Zoro swords." You dismiss calmly as you shake your head no once, Nami visibly frowns as she hears your response, but you don't pay it much mind for now.

"The bounty hunter swords? Why are you looking for them?" Nami questions, now having grown both a bit cautious as well as curious.

"I've recently joined a pirate group, we're actually trying to recruit Zoro right now. His swords are keys to having him join us." You tell slyly with a grin on your face.

Normally, Nami would be somewhat impressed by the cunning strategy but after hearing that you became a member of a pirate group...

"Well, goodluck with that. I have my own matters to handle." Nami abruptly told as she turned around and continued to try and break into the safe.

Your eyes widened a little by the sudden cold shoulder you got from Nami, instantly you began to realize and understand that Nami holds a grudge against pirates, you just didn't know the exact reason yet.
