Studying at Duel Academy for deepening the horizon of duels which ends up quite a catastrophe like the Sacred Beasts, Society of Light, transporting to Duel Spirits' World and... Nightshroud/Darkness. An entity believes himself to be a "savior" and that complete peace can be brought into people through complete nullification (giving people neither hope nor despair) Though beaten and forced to return to the World of Darkness by Judai and me, Darkness claims that as long as there's darkness in humans, he will surely return, but Judai counters by claiming that as long as humans believe in their bonds, Darkness' chance will never come. It was a long road for him as a student since he had to undergo so many trials and tribulations before giving a tearful farewell to his friends but he didn't regret the moments.

The next evolution of dueling known as Turbo Duel/Riding Duel with Speed Spells. Needless to say, speed is the key with a brand new set of monsters, Synchro Monsters which led to the events of Fortune Cup, Dark Signers, The union of Neo Domino City and Satellite. Last but not least, the WRGP aftermath battle with ZONE/Z-one, a human that is said from an alternate future of 5Ds in 200 years after. to try to protect humankind from extermination by the Meklord Emperors, but failed to stop the Zero Reverse that destroyed the planet. Thus, ZONE traveled through time with the mission of changing history and averting the disaster together with his three subordinates, Antinomy, Aporia and Paradox. Though their agenda is noble, the four are willing to go to any lengths to succeed, massacring thousands of innocents. He then redeemed himself, colliding with the Arc Cradle and stopping it from destroying Neo Domino City, albeit at the cost of his own life, knowing that future will be secured in the hands of the young ones. After that, the 5Ds' team went on separate ways in hopes of fulfilling their dreams and meet each other again. The boy even remembered that he left a memento for Yusei, his dear hat with KaibaCorp logo embedded on it so that like others, he can go on a journey to find a brighter future. Now, he's wearing a different red hat with goggles.
