8:00 pm, at the party:
"Here we are." Bella's mom announced as we pulled into the street. Of the party. The music was so loud that you could practically feel the bass vibrating through the seats of the car. Now that's what I'm talking about!
We both thank Bella's mum with a kiss on the cheek and a promise to be safe. Bella's mom was your cliche, 'I'm not your average mom, I'm a cool mom', The kind that doesn't see a problem with experiencing your teenage years to the fullest extent.
We walk up to the front door, the giant front door that looks like the doors to a palace. A note taped on the door read, "Come through the side gate and leave the shiity attitudes, school talk, and yawns outside xo"
We walked through the back gate and were greeted by a huge backyard covered in fairy lights and partially drunk teenagers. The edge of her backyard displayed a huge infinity pool that overlooked the entirety of the town and city. We passed through everyone dancing and playing drinking games to be welcomed with a very expensive-looking house, the ceiling in the living room was about two floors high surrounded by full-length windows, a billiards table, and a ping pong table being used for beer pong.
As we waltz through the house, saying hello to everyone we could, Christian and three of his football mates walk up to greet us.
"Hey hot stuff, you come here often?." He flirts with Bella she blushes and shoves his shoulder playfully.
"No, but if you do, I sure will." She reciprocates the flirty nature back to him.
"And hello to Bella's beautiful best friend." he reaches out his arm to pull me into an embrace. I accept and greet him appropriately. "Great to finally meet you properly."
I pull away from him accordingly, "Well if you're good to Bella then it'll be great to know me too" I joke to him.
"I like her." He says to Bella, making us both laugh, "These are my friends from Westlake High, they also transferred to Oak Wood."
"Hey I'm Alex, nice to meet you guys." a boy with short black gelled hair greeted, he maintained genuine eye contact with his large brown eyes as the corners of his lips tugged up into a friendly smile. He seemed very happy to see us, maybe that was just his personality.
The next boy stepped forward with his hand out ready for a handshake. He held a show-stopping smile as he began to register our faces. He had golden curly locks of hair that was faded down his head and bright blue eyes.
"How are you? I'm Jack" He had an Australian accent. He seemed very gentle and sweet but he also sent out a vibe of confidence. I don't know if it was the accent but something drew me to Jack. He was alluring. I placed my hand in his, accepting the handshake.
"Lucia." I smiled politely at him. You wouldn't believe that the girl presented in front of you is quite something when she goes out partying. I learned it all from my maneater best friend.
Bella squealed, "We'll leave you two alone." She grabbed Christian and Alex by the hands and ran off.
"Can I get you a Drink?" Jack asked confidently.
"Well if you insist." I smile while walking alongside him to the large fridge in the kitchen. We chatted away about random things for a couple of minutes, I loved his energy and I loved hearing him talk.
"So you're an Oak Wood girl. Dangerous." he leans his waist on the marble counter behind him. Crossing his arms whilst holding a beer.
"Oh really, dangerous? What have you heard about Oak Wood girls?" I bite my lip and copy his body language whilst standing in front of him.
