2:00 pm, the next day.

After spending a solid two hours working Bella out of her hungover state, we were almost at the point of complete recovery. Bella sat in the living room with a blanket wrapped around her, smiling down at her phone.

"What's got you so cheeky," I asked, plopping myself next to her. She tilts her phone so that I can read a message Christian has sent her.

*Text Message From Christian*: "Wassup good looking, how's the hangover? So Leo and I are going to be hanging out at the football ground that is not too far from Lucia's place, wanna come?".

"I mean I'm down, but are you feeling good enough to go?" I ask her concerningly. She jumps up off the couch.

"Please, I could be throwing up green goo and I'd still be down." I have always been obsessed with Bella's enthusiasm and ambition.

2:30, The Football Field:

Bella and I hop out of my car and make our way down to the football field. This was a popular spot for the jocks of every school to come practice for their upcoming games, so it was no surprise to see a bunch of shirtless guys running around all sweaty. Bella was walking slightly in front of all of me which was quite normal for her as she loved the smell of fresh meat, more specifically, New boys to draw her attention to.

We finally make it to the other side of the field where the benches are. We happened to be the only females there other than the occasional mother strolling past with her toddler.

"What a perfect day to be surrounded by a field of snacks, I don't know bout you but I'm starving!" Bella and I giggle together. Seems like no single man could ever change Bellas's view on boys.

"I see a hella sexy boy giving you googly eyes on the field." She states as she turns her attention back to the boy on the field, I follow to pull my focus to where she is looking. I'm surprised to be presented with the familiar face of Jack. The cute Australian from the party. He had a wife beater on that looked too tight for him as his muscles were peering through the singlet. When he noticed me looking at him he smirked and winked. It felt weird and I wasn't sure why. He broke the stare and turned back to his friends. I turn back to look at Bella and she winks at me. Although we came here to hang out with the boys, I still had no interest in dating and I stood by that decision.

Whilst Bella was busy admiring the boys on the field, I decided to go to the drink faucets to refresh myself. As I was drinking I felt a few taps on my left shoulder. I stopped drinking and turned around to see Jack. I simpered at him nervously as he began to speak,

"Lucia right? Remember me?" I blushed, as much as I was set on staying single, there was no hurt in throwing in a little flirting.

"How could I forget?" I flirtatiously said as I poked his chest with my index finger. He holds onto the place on his chest that I poked, pretending that I hurt him.

"I gotta know what a pretty girl such as yourself would possibly be doing at the fields." he places his arm on the wall behind me leaning his body towards me, he was very close to my face at this point.

"Oh, wouldn't you like to know," I say as I let out a giggle, he does the same.

"Yo Jack, come over here a second?" Leonardo calls out to Jack, I step back, expressing that I'll wait. He runs over to Leo. I watch as the two of them go back and forth, Leo viciously using his hands to explain something. Waited impatiently for the exchange to end.

After what feels like forever, Jack jogs over awkwardly.

"Hey sorry, I gotta get back to practice, See you 'round Lucia."

runs off back to the field, as if nothing happened

I felt shocked and confused, everything seemed great. What did Leo say to him? I stormed over, thinking the absolute worst.

"What the Hell did you say to him?"

"What are you talking about?" He continues doing what he is doing as if I wasn't there

"To Jack, he was talking to me just fine, and then you said something to him, and now?" I pursue my theory that Leo sabotaged me.

"I just told him something coach told me to tell him, advice. Nothing to do with you" He peered over to me. I stood still in disbelief, there was just no way that was all that happened.

"You don't have to believe me, Maybe you just don't know Jack that well. He's quite the player gets bored quite easily"

I shook my head, scoffing. I refused to believe he just changed his mind at the moment, But there was nothing I could do to prove anything. Leo said he didn't say anything and I wasn't going to ask Jack.

I guess I wasn't THAT into Jack.
