Luke's POV
"Morning Calum you okay buddy?" I say giving him his favourite breakfast, scrambled eggs and bacon with toast and orange juice. We've realised that Calum doesn't really talk so we're trying to help him
He doesn't seem to have heard me, weird
"Ashy, can you come here for a minute" I say
"Sure babe what's the problem"
"Cal didn't seem to have heard me, have you realised that when we talk to him he sometimes tilts his head in confusion like he doesn't know what we're saying" I say concerned for our poor son.
"I'll book him for the doctors see if we can get him an appointment" and I nod going over to Calum patting his shoulder and looks up to me, I then show him his food and he starts to nibble at it.
"I've got him for tomorrow morning at 8:30am with Liam since he works on the kids department"
"That's good, Zayn texted me saying if we wanted to meet Niall and then they can meet Cal Pal" and nod
"We'll go after Calum has finished his breakfast" I then decided to get a piece of paper and write on it
'We're going to meet sharky's friends' and give it to Calum and he nods, sharky is the only word Calum has said since he came here and when said it he pointed at Ashton so we realised that's what he wants to call ash.
"Let's go to the car, I'll get Calum" and I nod, after he gets Calum we start to drive off.
*At The Payne House*
"Luke, Ashton come on in, Louis is watching tv and you must be Calum" Liam says and he nods, it seems like Calum can hear but not far away
"Daddy who's that" Louis asks, I remember seeing him a couple years ago he was tiny "Lukey! I missed you" and he hugs me
"Hey buddy, oh my goodness you've gotten bigger than before soon you'll be taller than me" I chuckle
"Louis, this is Calum, Luke and Ashtons son, do you think you can play nice with him, he's 6 years old so 6 years younger than you"
"Sure can dad" and he passes one of his favourite cars to Calum and he takes his hand over his car rug
"That's absolutely adorable" Ashton cooes
*A few hours later*
"Thanks for coming over I'll see you tomorrow, geez Lou your such a lightweight" Liam says waving at Calum and he surprisingly waves back, me and Ashton smile and take Calum's hand and head to our car
Hopefully his appointment goes well tomorrow....
