That night, Rachel sat cross-legged on her bed in the university dorm she shared with Rosé and Jennie. Her phone lit up with incoming messages from Lisa and Jisoo, and soon enough, they were all on a group video call, catching up like old times. Rosé and Jennie were sitting nearby, occasionally chiming in as well.

"Okay, spill, Rachy," Lisa said, her eyes gleaming with mischief through the screen. "Who is this guy bestie you've been telling us about? I need details."

Rachel grinned. "His name is Felix, and he's honestly the sweetest person I've ever met. I think I've finally found my guy bestie."

Lisa raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure this isn't turning into a crush? You've been talking about him a lot."

Rachel rolled her eyes. "No, I'm serious! He's just a friend."

Jisoo leaned into the camera, her expression amused. "But you like spending time with him, right? I mean, how much time are we talking about here?"

Rosé and Jennie, who were listening intently, burst into laughter, and Rachel playfully tossed a pillow at them. "Oh, come on! It's not like that. We hang out, talk about random stuff, and he even offered to teach me how to bake. That's it."

Lisa leaned back with a smirk. "I'm telling you, Rachy, guys and girls as just friends? It never ends well. But hey, prove me wrong."

Jisoo nodded, grinning. "Just be careful. If he starts acting weird, don't say we didn't warn you."

Rachel laughed, enjoying the playful banter. "You guys are ridiculous. I'm proving you all wrong."

The conversation flowed easily between jokes, stories, and playful arguments, with everyone chiming in. Even Rosé and Jennie got in on the teasing, throwing in comments like, "Maybe you two should bake together and see what happens!" and "Does he know you're basically famous in our friend group now?"

By the end of the call, Rachel's stomach hurt from laughing so hard. The fire chat had been exactly what she needed - a mix of everything: excitement, a little bit of drama, and a lot of love from her friends.

"Okay, fine," Lisa finally conceded, laughing. "You can keep him for now. But if things get complicated, I'm telling you, I saw it coming."

Rachel shook her head, still smiling. "You won't have to worry. I've got this."

After the call ended, Rosé and Jennie teased her a little more before everyone finally drifted off to sleep. Rachel lay awake for a while, thinking about what Lisa and Jisoo had said. She couldn't help but wonder if things would stay this simple with Felix. She hoped they would.
