The following week was filled with a mix of excitement and routine as Rachel settled into her university life. Felix and Rachel continued their friendly hangouts, and their bond grew stronger. Felix's easygoing nature made their interactions feel natural and comfortable, and their conversations often spanned a range of topics, from their classes to their favorite hobbies.
One day, as Rachel was studying in the library, she received a message from Felix asking if she was free to meet up later. Excited by the prospect of spending more time together, she quickly responded with a yes.

When they met up at their usual café, Felix had a mischievous smile on his face. "Guess what?" he said, sliding into the seat across from Rachel.
Rachel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What's up?"
"I've got a surprise for you," Felix said, reaching into his bag and pulling out a box of neatly wrapped pastries. "I wanted to thank you for being such a great friend. These are from a bakery I found that makes the best croissants in town."
Rachel's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, Felix, you didn't have to do that! But thank you. These look amazing."
Felix smiled, clearly pleased with her reaction. "I wanted to. Besides, you've been really supportive, and it's nice to have a friend like you."
They enjoyed the pastries together, savoring the delicious flavors and chatting about their week. As they talked, Rachel couldn't help but reflect on how much Felix had come to mean to her. He was thoughtful, kind, and always seemed to know how to brighten her day.
Later that week, Rachel received an invitation to a campus event - a small gathering organized by the university's student council. She thought it would be a great opportunity to hang out with Felix and maybe introduce him to some of her other friends.
When she mentioned it to Felix, his eyes lit up with enthusiasm. "That sounds fun! I'd love to go. It'll be a good chance to meet more people and see what the university has to offer."
The night of the event arrived, and Rachel and Felix attended together. The atmosphere was lively, with music playing and students mingling. Rachel introduced Felix to Rosé and Jennie, and they were immediately impressed by how effortlessly he got along with everyone.
"Felix, this is Rosé and Jennie, you guys have met already," Rachel said, gesturing to her friends. "fyi, They're a big part of my life here."
Rosé and Jennie greeted Felix warmly, and he returned their friendliness with his characteristic charm. The group spent the evening chatting, dancing, and enjoying the event's activities. Felix's ability to connect with Rachel's friends only strengthened her appreciation for him.
As the event came to a close, Rachel found herself reflecting on the night. Felix had fit seamlessly into her world, and her friends had enjoyed his company just as much as she did.
On their way back to the dorm, Rachel and Felix walked side by side, talking about the highlights of the evening.
"Thanks for coming tonight," Rachel said. "It was really nice to have you there. You fit in perfectly with everyone."
Felix grinned. "I'm glad to hear that. I had a great time too. It's nice to be part of your world."
Rachel smiled, feeling a sense of contentment. "I'm really glad we met. You've been an amazing friend."
Felix's eyes softened. "And you've been a great friend too, Rachel."
As they reached the dorm, Rachel turned to Felix. "Let's definitely do this again sometime. I'm looking forward to more adventures."
"Me too," Felix said, giving her a friendly hug. "See you soon."
Rachel watched him walk away, feeling grateful for the friendship they had built. With each passing day, she felt more confident in the idea that guys and girls could indeed be friends, and that Felix was a true testament to that.
Back in her dorm, Rachel shared the details of the event with Rosé and Jennie, who were eager to hear about it. The conversation quickly turned into enthusiastic chatter about Felix and their plans for the future.
As Rachel lay in bed that night, she thought about how her life had changed since meeting Felix. She felt a sense of fulfillment and excitement for the future, knowing that she had found a genuine friend who made her university experience even more special.
