The next day, Rachel woke up feeling energized. She had a class later in the afternoon, but for now, she wanted to grab breakfast. After getting dressed, she made her way to the café on campus, hoping to catch up on some reading before the day kicked off.

As she walked in, she noticed Felix sitting in the usual corner, already sipping on his coffee. His eyes lit up when he saw her, and he waved her over.
"Hey, Rachel! Wanna join me?" he asked with that familiar warmth in his voice.
"Sure!" Rachel said, taking a seat across from him. "How's your morning?"
"Good," Felix replied. "I was just thinking about what we talked about the other day. You know, baking."
Rachel chuckled. "Yeah? You still think you can teach me?"
Felix grinned, his expression playful. "Oh, I'm sure of it. How about this weekend? I can show you how to make my famous brownies."
Rachel's heart skipped a beat. "Deal. But no promises that I won't burn something."
"I'm not worried," Felix said, laughing.
As they chatted, Rachel couldn't help but think back to the conversation she had with Lisa and Jisoo the night before. For now, things with Felix were light, easy, and uncomplicated. She was determined to keep it that way.
But a small voice in the back of her mind reminded her that sometimes, things didn't always go according to plan. Still, Rachel was ready to enjoy the ride and see where this friendship took her.
