I thought the pic on the side just suited this chapter perfectly
IMPORTANT A/N
Wattpad is not notifying me when all of you comment or vote, it is only notifying me when the people who follow me vote or comment. I didn't know that two people from last chapter had commented until I went to reply to someone. So if you have a question that needs answering, leave it on my message board.
Also: please, no hate on Courtney! I'm using her as a character in the story, but I fully support her relationship with Ross irl. If he's happy, I'm happy, and the Raura shippers need to stop that thing that's circulating to yell 'Raura kiss' at the TCA's though they're both in a relationship. Thanks.
Also, I now have an email account made just for helping all of you newer people to writing edit your stories and help with writing ideas! So if you find my writing has somewhat decent ideas and somewhat decent grammar, then you can email me at iwannaseechusmiler5@gmail.com ! More info is a book in itself on my page!
_____________________"I can't believe he's using a girlfriend to distract himself!" Cassidy says, Rydel able to hear the tears in her voice.
"Cass, there's no need to be upset! Did I tell you Avery is with Riker? See, they had a happy ending. And you can find yours too. If he wants to distract himself, why don't you play back? I mean, it's pretty easy to get a guy who will pretend to be your boyfriend for a while." Rydel says soothingly, trying to comfort Cassidy through the phone.
"Can you come over, please?" Cassidy asks, a slight whimper to her voice.
"I'll be over in a sec. Let me just tell my brothers I'm leaving. Bye Cass, see you soon." Rydel says, climbing from her bed to get her shoes.
As she walks downstairs, she spots Ross on the couch, and is shocked to see that he is alone.
"Ross? Where'd Courtney go?" Rydel asks, sitting down next to Ross.
"She had family problems to attend to." Ross says, continuing to scroll through something on his phone.
"Oh, okay. Um, see you later. In going to Cassidy's." Rydel says, getting up from the couch and walking towards the door. When she's about to walk outside, she feels someone grab her arm.
"Wait, Rydel." Ross says, turning her around.
"Yes?" She asks him, worried as to why he needed her.
"Can you please give this to Cassidy?" Ross asks, handing her a small folded piece of paper.
"Sure." She takes it, and then walks out the front door.
***
"I cannot believe him!" Cassidy says as Rydel enters the house, closing the door behind her. She sees Cassidy sitting on the couch with her head in a pillow, and you could practically see the smoke coming from her ears.
"Hey Cass. You doing okay?" Rydel asks as she walks towards Cassidy, slowly sitting down next to her.
"Yeah, just a bit pissed off at Ross." Rydel knew she was definitely angry, as she never cursed until you pushed her too far.
"He definitely pushed a bit too far. But hey, he gave me this to give to you." Rydel says, handing Cassidy the small folded piece of paper with her name written in neat handwriting.
Cassidy slowly unfolded the paper, hesitating before re-folding it.
"I don't want to open it." Cassidy says, setting the paper down on the table in front of her.
