Ashley's Pov.

Today is a bad day for me. It's a Monday. I hate Monday's You wake up from a beautiful weekend and have to go to a boring school. Why do we have to go to school? School is just.... Useless!! Besides the school fights! The worst thing about it is that I have to go with my adopted sister, Goop. Why is she even named that?

"Goop, Ashley!! Breakfast!" My mom said.

I got out of bed and went down stairs. We had some pancakes with some veggies for some healthyness. Goop was already at the table and eating some carrots with a smile on her face. I slumped my shoulders and groaned. Out of all of the kids at the adoption center, my mom and dad picked her.

"G-God m-morning, As-shley!" Goop said happily.

"That was so sweet of you to say good morning to your sister!" My dad exclaimed.

I looked disgusted.

"She is not my sister and will be my sister?" I yelled.

Goop's smile faded slightly and she ate another veggie.

"Watch your mouth!" My dad said.

I got angry. Goop isn't my sister, she looks weird and ugly!! I started to walk down the stairs.

"It's true!! She can't even say a word correctly!!" I yelled.

"S-Sissy?" Goop said to me.

"What..." I said, clearly annoyed.

"I-I don't li-ike it w-when Y-You sa-ay that a-about me... Can Y-You stop p-please?" She asked.

"Do I look like I care about your little feelings? I don't think so!" I yelled.

"ASHLEY, STOP NOW!" My dad yelled.

"I DON'T CARE!! GOOP IS JUST A STUPID WIMP WITH NO FRIENDS, SHE IS JUST A STUPID ADOPTED KID WHO WILL .NEVER. FIT. IN!!" I yelled.

Goop got up from her chair and went to her room, feeling very embarrassed. I didn't fell bad a bit.

"YOUR GROUNDED WHEN YOU COME BACK FROM SCHOOL!!" My dad said as my mom went to check up on Goop.

Goop's Pov.

I sat on my bed, starting to cry. Maybe to don't fit in. I'm just a stupid person with no friends. Sissy was right... I heard a knock on the door and it slowly creaked open. It was my mother.... Or Mrs. Brooks. She walked over to me and sat on the bed with me.

"Ashley never ment that, ok? She just had a bad start."

"..."

"You are always a part of the family."

"..."

"Sweety, speak to me..."

"B-But, wh-hy am I-I so-o ugl-ly?" I say.

My mom looked so sad.

"Don't you ever say that... You are beautiful!" My mom said.

I didn't believe her.

"B-But w-what wi-ill the o-others a-at scho-ol thi-ink of m-me?" I ask.

My mom stayed quiet for a moment.

"They will think good things about you, and you are going to make good friends!" She said. "Now c'mon, let's take you to school, m'kay?"

"O-Ok!" I responded.

I grabbed my notebook and pencils and put them in my backpack. I followed my mom downstairs. Ashley already has her backpack on and ready to go. I put on my backpack and went outside.
