Abhiram bhaiya.

Yes, our new and annoying teacher is my Cousin.

I once joked about how our college has only one psychology teacher in front of my lovely bhaiya. And three months later he surprised me by popping into my class, the first day of my last and final year.

I always knew he was studying psychology and wanted to teach psychology but still seeing him shocked me so much that day. But except for me and Akash no one knows that I'm his younger cousin.

"Seems like you are still not done with your work, sir"Rima ma'am enters the room with a smiling face as always. And before sir could answer her questions she looked at Naina and asked her"Naina,How are you?".

Why only Naina?

Does she forget all of us and remember Naina?

"I.. I'm good ma'am"Naina replied very slowly in both speed and volume. I have heard her either speaking loudly or speaking shyly but I have never heard her like this. Like people can read her lies.

"Should we start with the doubt, Rohan?" Sir asked me and then we started with the doubt class.

Half an hour later

We all are packing our bags except Naina. She was just sitting and staring at the sir's poor table.

I was about to ask her why she was not packing when I noticed sir was also not moving and just staring at the exact same spot as Naina. I mean it's 05:15 and they don't want to leave.

"Let's go, Rohan." Akash said.

I looked at sir and said "We are going sir." He just nodded.

Me,Akash and Meera exit the counseling room and as soon as we exit I hear sir calling Naina in a very soft voice. The voice I never heard from him, not even for his little sister who is his princess.

I looked at Meera while walking. I was about to ask her how she is going to go when we hear a voice, a female voice calling Meera.

We all turned towards the left of us and found a girl waving her hand.

"Payal" Meera whispered. Payal approached us in five steps and hugged Meera. The second she hugged Meera, Meera asked "what happened?".

Payal broke their hug and first looked at Akash and then me.

Akash nodded his head like he got what the newcomer wanted to say.

"Let's go, Rohan," Akash said, looking at me.

I looked at Meera and yeah she wants us to leave. We started walking and after five steps Akash turned back and said.

"Don't be late"

Okay I got it that they know each other but the way he 'don't be late' it feels like a brother is talking to his sister.

Are they brot-

My thoughts got interrupted when I heard Akash yelling.
I looked at him and realized I was about to step on a puppy who was sleeping unaware he was about to die.

"Where are you lost?" Akash asked. In that tone he only uses it in anger, well, this puppy is one of the most favorite things in this college.

He kneeled down and petted the puppy on his small head.

"Akash?"

"Hmm" he stands up and we start walking again.

"Do you know Meera?" I finally asked him.

"Yeah, we are siblings," he just casually said.

"So, you are saying she is your twin? Huh?" Akash isn't someone who talks about his family so much. In these three years of our friendship I have never been to his house. I just know he has a mom, dad, grandmother and sister.

"Hmm, you could say it. We just have a three month difference." he says it with a smile.

"You mean three minutes or three hours?" I asked. Because of course twins can't be born in three months.

"No, we are three months apart from each other. And I'm big." He said it with a proud smile of being older.

Huh?

"Explain" I ordered him.

"Actually we are cousins" ohh "she was my chachu's daughter" ohhhh "she was twelve when chachu died in a fire blast in his company building"

"Now-" I was about to ask him another question but he stopped me.

"I think it's enough for today" Akash says and points at his bike "let's go, I'll drop you home" he said while smiling.

"Okay" we sat on his bike which was gifted by his parents on his last birthday which was his nineteenth birthday. Like every boy he loves his bike so much. He started and within thirteen minutes I was in front of my house.

"Bye, see you tomorrow" I said waving at him.

In return he just smiled and nodded a little. And then drive away.

I entered my house, yeah right my house is not my home because four walls and one giant door is not home. Home is where you feel at peace and that peace I felt three years ago for the first time when I met Akash for the first time in our English class.

I still remember he called me a nerd because I was wearing glasses which I still wear but he doesn't call me a nerd anymore. Akash was the first person who did not care if I belonged to a rich family. He was ready to fight me when in return for his nerd I called him a rat. Which he is.

Akash is one of the kindest people I met in twenty years of my life. A Lot of people think that he is a mean kind of guy but nah he is not.
