A night on town

Y/n pov
As I laid in room Charlie let me have...I found myself unable to sleep because since I had a million and one thoughts running through my mind all at once. I laid there for an extra 30 minutes until I decided to just say screw it and get up. I opened up the balcony door and stepped out onto it and look at the bustling city below me. I decided at that very point to walk around the city to get used to everything. I climbed over the Balcony and shimmed all the way to a rain pipe and slide down it. When I made it to the ground I conjured a bomber jacket and put it on which hid my wings.

I then made my way down the hill and walked downtown and seen several people fighting. I put a sucker in my mouth and walked through the middle of the active fighting zone and weaved through their attacks. When I made it through all the way I snapped my fingers and heard several explosions going off one after another. Using that ability tires me out. So in this situation it's actually good to tire myself out and such. I made it to an intersection that had signs pointing in different directions.

I followed the sign that says Entertainment District. As I walked I began to pass several buildings that seems rather futuristic and had neon signs everywhere. I seen a bar that caught my attention called the red carpet. I walked towards it and the Bouncer stopped me and said "Sir this is a private bar reserved for the top sponsors." I caught my hand on fire and grabbed his skull which he started screaming for mercy. I stopped for a second to look at him in the eye and said "Will you let me in or do I need to incinerate you completely to get in. Either way works with me." He immediately said "Fine you can go in and Velvette will deal with you herself." I took that as an insult and decided to incinerate him. I walked in and took a seat at the bar. The Bartender seen me and cheerfully said "What may I get you started on tonight?" I said "A bottle of your strongest liquor." She nodded and poured me a shot until I snatched the bottle and started chugging it. She seemed surprised and I said "Another one please. This one wasn't strong enough to knock me out."

I watched a male down a bottle of Beez-le juice and I elbowed Velvette and said "Do you know the young man over there?" She looked up and said "No I don't. Why don't you ask the Piss Baby on your left? Val then said "Nope neither do I but he sure is hammering those Beel-Ze Juice. He isn't even wincing at the flavor and the alcohol in them is through the roof." I then said "Vel why dont you go talk to him before he drains our entire stock. He seems to be around your age." Vel then looked at me and said "Is it because I'm the only female in our group?" I nodded and she groaned and said "You owe me big time after this Vox!" I nodded and I watched her feign a smile and start strutting over to the Male.

Y/n pov
I heard the sound of footsteps and a stool moving. I then heard a girl say "Mellisa cut him off." I looked up and the bartender said "Sorry sir but I think you've had enough." I groaned and said "This Alcohol must've been the weakest alcoholic beverage I have ever had." I heard the female next to me ask "So what has you in the dumps big guy?" I let the jacket drop and pointed at the broken wing and said "Take a wild guess." She then immediately pulled a gun at which I telekinetically threw the gun out of the window and said "I suggest you to not do that again...If you value your life."

She then asked "Are you an Exorcist?" I looked at her confused and said "What in the hell is an Exorcist. NO I'm a Nephilim! A fallen angel." She seemed surprised and asked "Wait you don't know what the yearly extermination is?" I said "Nope nor do I care because I won't hesitate to kill anyone that gets in my way." The girl looked shocked and I turned to her and said "The names Y/n L/n" I held my hand out towards her which she shook my hand and said "I'm Velvette of Vel for short." I nodded and turned away from her.

She then asked "I know I probably shouldn't ask this bu-" I cut her off and finished her sentence by saying "Can I touch one of your feathers." She then asked "How did you..." I said "One of my powers is telepathy. I can also use it to read minds" I plucked one of my feathers and slid it over to her and said "Now these might not be as accurate to what you wish and that's because my Father feathers are also weapons which I inherited from his genes. So do be careful be-" she then let out a small yelp of pain which I facepalmed and said "Before you hurt yourself." They never let me finish before getting too impatient. I then stood up and said "I do wish I could stay longer to chat but unfortunately I need to get back to the Hazbin Hotel and at least try to get a few hours of rest before I meet with Lucibella. I would say stay in touch but I unfortunately don't have one of those magical devices as of yet. I started to head towards the exit.

Velvette pov
I looked at both of them and Vox nodded." I immediately got up and jumped onto Y/n's back. I startled him and he threw me over his shoulder onto the ground. I looked at him terrified until he said "I apologize Vel. I don't respond well to being jumped from behind." He then crouched down and he helped me to my feet and dusted my dress off and I'm surprised he didn't try to peek of grope me. He then rubbed his eyes and let out a yawn. I heard a couple of my fans yell "GET HIM!" I went to stop them until I heard a faint snap and I watched the small crowd explode into bloody confetti." I then seen how Y/n started wobbling and then he tiredly said "You can make it back. Just keep....your eyes...ope-" I watched him begin to fall forward which I instantly got in front of him and caught him. I then asked "Hey Y/n are you ok?" I didn't receive a response so my mind panicked and started shaking him until I heard Vox say "Velvette he fell asleep that's all. It seems like that ability uses a lot of stamina. Lets get him back to VoxTech so he can properly rest and recover. All we have to do is make sure he's back at the Hazbin hotel before 10 AM most likely." I nodded and I felt how light he is. I easily picked him up and Vox asked "Where did that strength suddenly come from?" I said "No it's not strength but rather how light he is. He probably doesn't eat much if I had to guess."

Timeskip 30 minutes

Velvette pov
When we got back to the tower. I then remembered we only have 4 rooms. Mine, Val, Vox, and the main office." I wasn't going to let Val anywhere near him and Vox has been too obsessed with that Alyssa fucker, which only left my room." We walked to the elevator and We pressed our assigned floors and my floor was first. After a few moments the elevator opened which I walked out with Y/n in my arms and I laid him on my bed to rest. I was going to work on my clothing line when I heard a mysterious childlike voice say "Father why did grandfather put us here...did we anger him father?"

I felt a bit dizzy so I sat on the bed next to Y/n and closed my eyes to stop this feeling of dizziness. When I opened my eyes I realized I was somewhere pitch dark and seen a trail of lit candles. I followed it and there was darkness but it wasn't pitch darkness anymore. I seen that I was in some desolated desert and seen the sand was a very dark grey and the sky was in a very dark greyish-blue color.

I blinked and suddenly a massive mound of jagged rocks and seen a small boy with abyssal black wings appeared in front of me. I seen he was pulling on something. I then heard the boy say "Father I'll get you out of there I promise." I then heard an exhausted deeper male voice say "Son you're wasting your breath. I'll be ok I promise. Why don't you sit and rest your weary head from today's troubles."

I watched the boy sit down and he asked "Father...when is mother coming back? Didn't you say that she would be back for my birthday?" I sat down and the father replied "Son...I think you're old enough for me to tell you the truth?" I watched the boy look up and asked "The Truth?" I then heard the father say "yes Y/n the truth." I was shocked that I was seeing Y/n's memories happen right before my eyes. The father then continued "Y/n my Son....Your mother is gone." Y/n then said "I already knew that father...you told me that she was visiting family" I watched the father say "Son...she's gone forever. Your grandfather killed her." I then seen Y/n's face go pale until he lit up and said "Wait you can get me a new mother right?" I began to tear up and heard his father say "Y/n...sometimes bad things happen that can't be fixed...But there will come a day where you'll become strong enough to break out of here and you'll have a whole world of opportunities you can explore. You might even come across a beautiful woman that will be with you through the harshest of storms that the world has to offer. Keep a positive attitude and that chance will come far sooner than you think my son. It's time to rest alright. I'll be right here when you open your delicate eyes." I watched the boy curl up into a ball and fell into a troubled sleep.

When I blinked again I seen I was back in my bedroom and seen Y/n shivering and heard his teeth chatter. I honestly felt horrible that Y/n had that harsh of a past. I seen a tear start to prick at his eyes. I felt like he shouldn't sleep alone tonight. I snapped my fingers which my clothing changed and I laid next to him then turned him over to me and gently embraced him. I had no idea on why I suddenly want to be next to him. But I decided to just let things be
