She walks into the Real Madrid gates as she feels her body shiver and the autumn's wind blowing gently in her face.
She was nervous and excited at the same time. She really hopes she gets the job and able to make money while sharpening her Spanish.
She walks into the building after the guards checked her and gave her a visitor's pass. She walks to the receptionist area as she is holds her important documents and waits for the receptionist to give her attention.
The receptionist acknowledges her after the call and writing a note."Good morning ma'am. How may I help you?"
"I came to drop important documents for a job position."Mathapelo says in spainsh, causing the receptionist to smile.
The receptionist is able to help her and Mathapelo thanks her as she bids the receptionist goodbye.
She turns around and almost bumps into someone. She looks up and sees a slim fit, warm beige and red haired woman.
"I am so sorry. Are you okay?"Mathapelo asks and the woman smiles.
"I am, thank you."The woman narrows her eyes and then widens them."Shantelle Latoya?"She asks and Mathapelo narrows her eyes."Don't you remember me?"
"No,I don't."
"Emma Williams from Essence magazine. I did a charity interview with you almost three years ago."Emma explains, causing Mathapelo to smile.
"Oh,now I remember."
"When are you available?I would love to do an interview with you-maybe a podcast or YouTube video."Emma explains and Mathapelo bites her lip.
She goes to her bag,as she pulls her phone out and checks her calendar."Monday is a good day."She replies and exits her calender and goes to her contact icon."For your number."
Emma takes the phone enters her name and number."I will text you so we will talk about the meeting."She says and Emma smiles.
Mathapelo bids her goodbye and walks towards the door. She bumps into tall, athletic fit and dark men. She moves to open space for them but one of them chuckles.
"Ladies first."He says with a deep French accent and she smiles as she goes out first.
"Thank you."She replies shyly and walks out of the building.
"Elle est tellement sexy."The one with deadlocks says, Mathapelo turns around because she was not far from them.
She feels her cheeks heat up,she came to Madrid to honour the marriage and not cause any drama and she walks sliently to her car.
She is driven back to the house where she will check her e-mails and respond to some of them.
She closes her laptop and puts it aside as she fixes the pillow and puts her head on the pillow.She closes her eyes as she allows sleep to overtake her.
