She walks out of the bedroom after getting her make-up done and hair just brushed. She wore Jude Bellingham's Real Madrid shirt and while she wore her torn white washed jeans that she associated with a black belt.
She wore her black jacket that had a zipper which she left alone,she wore light brown Timberland boots that had her initial and she completed the outfit with a black scarf around her neck.
She wore her bracelets and earrings just to complete her look."Hello Mrs Bellingham."She acknowledges Mrs Bellingham who is drinking her tea while staring outside the window.
"Hello Shantelle,you okay?"She asks and Mathapelo nods her head.
"I am and you?"
"As long as I am still seeing my beautiful family,I am okay."She replies and Mathapelo nods her head.
She fights with herself whether now is the perfect time to apologize and sighs heavily.
"Mrs Bellingham?"She calls her, causing Denise to look at her and Mathapelo looks down.
"What is going on?"
"I want to apologize for my attitude towards you."She starts, causing Denise to narrow her eyes."That night when you spoke up about the situation not being my mother's fault. I was frustrated and took it out on you. I am really sorry."
"Aww."She says, causing her to smile a bit and heart felt warm.
She did not expect that from her even through she forgot about the death glare from Mathapelo. She wanted to move on from it and just continue to live her life.
"Do not ruin your make-up now."Denise replies, hugging Mathapelo and rubbing her back."Thank you for taking accountability."She says, Mathapelo takes a tissue and daps her tears away.
"I just felt it- it was really eating me alive."Mathapelo explains and Denise smiles a bit.
"Yeah- I also know that feeling but I am glad you apologized. People don't apologize these days so I am happy you did."She explains.
Mathapelo smiles a bit before walking back upstairs to go fix her make-up and takes her bag.
She goes back downstairs and sees Denise done with her tea and ready to go."Jude is already at the stadium so we will see him after the game."Denise says and Mathapelo nods her head.
They enter the car,they put the seatbelts on and Denise drives the car to the Santiago Bernabéu. The traffic was a bit hectic-which made Mathapelo nervous.
She sees that Real Madrid does not play when it comes to their team."Where the tickets sold out?"She asks Denise,who shurgs her shoulders.
"I do not know but we shall see."She replies as she parks the car and they exit the car. Denise makes sure to lock it before they walk to the stadium VIP section.
Denise shows the tickets to the security guard before they are allowed inside and Mathapelo follows Denise."They have a heater so you will be warm."Denise says,causing Mathapelo to nod her head.
Mathapelo takes her phone out and takes videos of the stadium as she posts on her social media.
She was happy to be at the famous stadium and she wanted to cherish the moment even if they do not give her the job.
She sits down as the match begins and takes videos of Jude. She takes photos of herself,thanks to Denise who did not seem to mind and she was grateful for that.
"Good to see you are enjoying the the match."Denise says,as they both go inside the VIP canteen and gets snacks.
"It is actually one of my favorite sports."Mathapelo says and Denise widens her eyes as she looks at Mathapelo.
They watch the match and it ends with Real Madrid winning the match 2-0.
"You will come to the matches alone next time."Denise says and Mathapelo widens her eyes.
"Why?"
"Sometimes,I won't be able to come because Jobe needs me more and I still have to focus on Mark."She explains and Mathapelo nods her head.
They wait at the parking lot for Jude and Mathapelo continues to eat her nuts and raisins.
A girl walks towards her because she seemed familiar."Hi,are you Shantelle?"She asks and Mathapelo looks at the girl."I am Sandy,I am a big fan of your work."The young woman says and she smiles.
"I am Shantelle.I am happy to hear that."She replies with a small smile."A photo?"She asks and Sandy immediately takes her phone out before her eyes land on Jude.
Mathapelo turns around and sees Jude talking to his mother."Jude."She calls him and Jude looks at her.
"Hm."
"A photo please."She says and Jude puts his bag in the boot. Jude goes to take a photo of Sandy and Mathapelo."Come on, another one."She says and Jude smiles before Denise takes photos of both of them with Sandy in it.
Mathapelo takes Sandy's phone so they can take selfies and Sandy hugs Shantelle with a big hug.
Mathapelo smiles and hugs her tightly before backing away from the hug. She honestly did not think she had people who looked up to her in other countries but she will take it as it comes.
She walks back to the car and sits at the back with Jude."You even posted me?"Jude says and she looks at the story she posted."Social media is going crazy."
"Sorry..."She says and Jude just smiles.
"Jude is back and now I sit alone."Denise says and Mathapelo looks at her with a small smile.
"She loves me mom."Jude says,causing Mathapelo to look out of the window while she feels her cheeks heat up."She is blushing."Jude says,pinching Mathapelo's cheek and she hits his hand away.
"I will go to the front if you don't stop teasing me."She says and he smiles."Thank you."She replies as they drive in silence.
She enjoyed the match and would actually not mind seeing Jude play again.
