As we left the dining room I asked "What do we do now?" "we rest, and in about half an hour we'll call you to the war games." TJ replied "War games?" "Yeah, we'll tell you the rules later." "Ooookayyyy" I said as I opened my room's door "bye." I waved at them and closed it.
As I got in the room the first think I did was to kick off my shoes and then sit at the bed. Everything was finally beggining to set in. And when I say everything I mean Everything. I laid back as I was thinking of the stuff that happened this year.
Me not remembering anything, Perry, me going on a quest, me missing my mom, and camp, and- I felt tears well up in my eyes waile I was thinking about those things
I can't cry right now. I shot up from the bed getting up. I need to disract my-self. How about I'll train, I asked myself as I pull Riptide out and walk outside to the yard. There's only trees here and I didn't want to hurt those tree nymph, if there were any.
Maybe I'll go talk to Magnus see what we have in common talk about Annabeth a bit. Ok alot, fine we will only be talking about her. But to be honest how could you not when you know such a perfect person.
I walked over to magnus' door and knocked, he opened almost immedietly "Hi percy, what's going on" he said. "Nothing just wanted to know how good is you're relationship with Annabeth." I said with finger guns "I dont know why I did that please ignore" "Ok...?" He moved out of the door making me room to get in.
I sat on his bed next to him.
"So how is she?" He asked "Well the last time you saw her she was alive but I don't know how she is now, I hope she will move on." I smiled slightly "When was the last time you saw her?" I asked. "Well we met at Fadlan's Falafel And she told me about Greek gods and I told hr about Norse gods that was, like a year plus ago." He said "Ok I feel like we're gossiping about her." "Yeah your right" I pressed my lips "What's your favorite color??" he asked. but not like a question he asked the question in question, does that make sense? Eh watever "Blue." I said laughting. He's eyes widened "Ew! that's literly the most disgusting color!" "You're disgusting color!" I said immedietly without thinking.
"What does that mean?" "I don't know"
"Ok, well anyway-" A knocking at the door made him stop mid-sentence and he got up to open it. him and the person that at the door talk for a bit then he turned to me and said "Ok, the war games are now." he turned away and started to walk down the hall as I quickly got up and followed him.
As we got into the elavator some music started to play, luckily it wasnt the same song as earlier. When the elevator reached the floor it should have he strted telling me that I could kill them because they will be revived in 30 minutes anyway. I'm sorry, WHAT?!?!
Since when can you kill pepole and just brush it off like your daily activity?!?
Well here apparintely.
And to think I thought nothing could suprise me.
Anyway as Magnus and I went to the field we met with all of the pepole I met at lunch. "Ok pepole we will be playing capture the flag," Helgi Screamed so that everyone would here him "Rules are you have to take the flag of the other team and bring it across this line" he pointed to the floor when a white line appeared "And you will have 5 minutes to put guards and decide the flags positions, floor 1-270 is in group one, and floor 270-540 is in group two" He didnt put ruled on maiming or hur- oh right silly me, you can kill here, obviously your allowed to maim. Fucking duh. I thouht Irreated.
Aanyway my team placed the flag somewhere that I didn't remembered where but it doesnt matter baecuse we didn't had enough time to do a strategy everyone will just search the other team's flag and bring it there, exept some guys I didn't know, they were assigned to guard the flag there was like 10 pepole there.
As the game started I saw Magnus touch the stone on his neckles and it turned into a sword(spl?). As I un-caped Riptide I started fighting pepole from the other team, I think. I couldn't bring my-self to kill them though. So I just got them unconcious and ran past them.
After awhile I saw the flag they had, like, 20 guards over there waiting for someone, suddenly I saw someone near me and I Immedietly tried to attack them, but stopped myself when I noticed it was Magnus. "Oh hey" I whispered "Hey" he replied.
"Ok I don't have a plan, you?" I told him "Nope, how about you and Jack will just attack and I'll stay here becase I dont know how to fight" He said "Two things." I started "One, how can you not know how to fight?" I wondered "secound, who's Jack"Suddenely the sword talked. Yep you heard me. He talked "Hey," It said "I'm Jack" I stared at it with wide eyes. "Ok yeah, because that make sense" Magnus luaghed a little from my reaction and said "As for you're first question, I'm not a fighter I'm a healer." "Ok...?" I turned to Jack "You will stall them and I will take the flag."
I was about to start attacking when he said "Wait, why not oppiset?" "Can you lift the flag?" "Yeah" He responded "Ok, then I'll stall them and you will take the flag and fly as high as you can and avoid flying wepons" did I really just naggotiate wit a sword. Yes, yes I did "Ok now we're talking" "Ok, on three. One... two... three!" I attacked them all and in the corner of my eye I saw Jack struggeling to pick it up.
I looked at Magnus and he looked at me apoligcally as he got up and tried to go help Jack as one of the guys stabbed him in the heart "Ow!" We're his 'last words' for this half an hour then suddenly the horn announed the other team as a winner, but this guys showed no sign to stop attacking anytime soon.
I meneged to get 5 of them knocked out and for some reason Jack dissapeared so it was just me. As an auddience begun to form I saw them chearing the other guys. Exept my floor who seemed to chear me "Kill them!" they screamed.
I had an opening to stab someone in the heart but Instead I just kicked him so hard he hit his head on a stone and passed out. I hope. I hitted another 3 pepole in the head making them go uncouncios as well.
They pushed me back and I took a look at them noticing they are only 11 left. Yay. Note the sarcasam. "Whay aren't you killing them!" Mellory screamed at me. I felt a tingle in my spine telling me to get away from the crowd, it was almost to late as I felt a knife cutting me a bit.
I flipped that person and got back to the fight. After awhile there were only 2 left concious(spl?) I kicked one in the face and the other in the stomach, and then I hitted both of them in the head and they fell forward. I was panting and wheezing by the end of that fight.
My floor cheared me and then a valkyrie came to take Magnus' body away and the croud went to their seperate ways. "Why didn't you kill them?" Alex asked annoyed "Do you hear yourself right now?" I asked her shocked "Yeah, and while it will be bad in Midgard-" "Midgard?" I asked "The human pepole world. Anywa-" "The what?" I cutted her again "It's part of the nine worlds ask someone to explain you later" "Oookaaay" "Anyway, Here they die for like 30 minutes, and then they're back. You dont have to worry about that" She said irretated "I know that." I said as I dropped riptide to lazy to search for It's cap "But it still feels wrong." I said
"Anyway, I'm going to sleep because I'm tired-" I told as I turned around "It's dinner though." Half-Born said "Never mind then, first dinner and then sleep" I turned to them "I dont know the way." I said "Where's TJ by the way?" "He died" oh nice. I hummed in acknowledgement
