"THE TENSION THAT IS between you two is insane." Josie spoke with seriousness as she and Elliot walked to school.

Ellie shook her head. "Hell no. Who are you talking about?" She asked dumbfounded. "She quite literally said she disliked me... a lot." She said in all seriousness.

Josie rolled her eyes. "You are not this dense." The blonde said in a serious tone. "The stuff you told me that went down yesterday is anything but disliking each other." She exaggerated as they walked up the steps to Royal Woods High School.

The two blondes entered the school, making a bee line for their lockers. "If anything its banter, but you guys so like each other." Josie claimed as they slowed to a stop at Elliots locker.

Elliot opened it, revealing a tiny circle mirror on the door with a magnetic pencil holder on the side. There was also some polaroids of herself and her two best friends. "No." She stated simply, fixing her hair in the mirror. "Me and Lynn? Never, Josie." She said, and it almost felt like she was convincing herself.

"Please." Flynn suddenly said, coming out of no where.  "Tell me something true."

Elliot grunted in annoyance, aggressively putting her history book in her locker before slamming it shut. "You guys need to stop with this stuff, please. That shit's never happening." She started, "first off, we don't even know if she's gay."

Josie and Flynn shared a look, "have you seen Lynn?" The girl asked Elliot in a serious tone.

Ellie rolled her eyes. "Second, I don't like her like that. Me and her aren't even friends so becoming girlfriends is off the table. We don't get along, and that is that." She said in a stern voice. "Now, will you please drop it?"

Flynn looked down at Josie who looked up at him. They shared a look of disappointment before nodding in agreement, "okay." They said in sync.

Ellie let out a sigh of relief. "Okay. Thank you." She looked at her friends, "I'll see you guys at math." She said, hugging her friends before walking down the hall.
