Picesri bit her bottom lip as she observed the room. Jaokhun was not there in that same bed. She was asleep when Jaokhun left the room, but it was for the better. She wasn't ready to face him after what happened last night. The scorching kiss at the beach which had led them to where she was now, was not easy to forget. It wasn't like her to let a man simply kissed her. Fortunately, Jaokhun respected her demand, not to be taken yet. At least not until she had fully given her heart to Jaokhun.

To tell the truth, Picesri was surprised that sleeping next to Jaokhun, being enveloped by his muscular arms, was not that bad actually. She never slept peacefully in her life and she wondered the reason she felt safe because of his arms around him. And the kiss they shared, it was phenomenal! If only she failed to put a stop to it, she might be waking up completely naked already.

Lazily, Picesri began to stretch her body, awaking her sleeping limbs and got out of that comfy bed. She made the bed, then went into the bathroom for her morning routine. She didn't even have to worry about the thing she might need to wash up. Jaokhun had prepared everything for her, from a toothbrush to a pair of clean clothes for her to wear, folding neatly on the bed.

Once Picesri was done getting ready, she quietly left the room and went into the kitchen where she saw Jaokhun was busy cooking for their breakfast. And he looked so damn hot that she couldn't help but drooling at him. She decided not to interrupt his work, but enjoying watching his every move until she was pulled out from her trance.

"Morning, Picesri....Did you sleep well last night?" Asked Jaokhun as he turned off the stove and brought over a plate that was filled with a bunch of pancakes he made to the kitchen island. He put the plate down then swiftly pulled Picesri into a hug and kissed her temple.

"Err...sort of..." Answered Picesri awkwardly.

"Like a baby?" Jaokhun grinned.

"Maybe...."

Jaokhun chuckled. "You're too proud to admit it."

"Not too proud...but...I don't even know how to describe it. I'm still not used to this. Getting so much attention from a man. Especially you." Picesri slowly pushed Jaokhun away from her.

"Hmm...that's good. I like to be the first who gives you all the attention." Retorted Jaokhun. "And I know, you do like it."

"Don't be so cocky." Picesri rolled her eyes as she looked away. "And can we please stop talking about us. I'm hungry, I need to be fed." She quickly grabbed the high chair and sat on it.

"Yeah...I'm hungry too..." Jaokhun stared at Picesri's lips that he kissed last night. He craved for it. But he wasn't sure if it would be a good thing for him to initiate the kiss again. Picesri might hate it. And if he wasn't careful enough, he might ruin the day.

"Hungry? For my lips? No, Jaokhun. Be good. Or I might change my mind about dating you." Picesri said adamantly. Having the upper hand on controlling Jaokhun was totally worth it. She might use it for her own advantage if Jaokhun kept on giving her the control.

"So...it's a yes?"

"Only for three months. Then, we will see how it goes." Picesri responded. She had thought about it carefully. The probation period could help her figure out what she truly wanted. If Jaokhun managed to make her agree to be in a relationship with him within that three months, she would definitely accept her fate.

"It will go smoothly." Jaokhun stated and he sounded cocky. "Trust me."

"You're cocky."

"Nope. Not cocky. But confident." Jaokhun winked. He then put a few pieces of pancakes on Picesri's plate and poured maple syrup on top of that stacked pancakes.

Picesri didn't give any respond. She simply watched Jaokhun and admired him in silence.

"Have a taste." Said Jaokhun as he pushed the plate right in front of Picesri and handed her a knife and a fork as well, before filling his own plate with pancakes.

Picesri nodded and swiftly dug in. "Hmm..not bad. You cooked pancakes better than me."

"Do you even know how to cook?"

"Hey! Do not underestimate a tomboy like me. I may not look the part, but that doesn't mean I can't cook. I can, but probably not that well. Just cook what I want to eat."

"Well, you don't have worry about food if you stay with me." Jaokhun said casually.

Picesri chuckled. Jaokun instantly stopped eating and stared at Picesri's bubbly face. He loved it when she laughed. Her mouth would turned into rectangle, exposing her white enamels for a display. Not one was crooked. They were arranged neatly in her mouth that made her looked attractive even more.

"Why are you laughing?" Jaokhun queried.

"Probably because your remarks were so lame?"

"It's the truth. Cooking is my passion. I may not reach a chef standard, but at least, I love doing it for the loved ones."

"You're right. It's just that, it sounded like a pick-up line to me."

Jaokhun beamed. "Well...I'm not going to deny it." He confessed.

"Thought so."

"However, I promise, I am willing to be your personal chef for the rest of my life. But of course, if you stay by my side forever."

Picesri chuckled again.

"Let me guess....You thought that was my pick-up lines as well."

Picesri simply made a funny expression to clarify that his guess was not wrong at all.

"I..." Jaokhun was put into a halt due to a series sound of knocking on the door.

"Did you invite anyone, Jaokhun?"

"Nope." Jaokhun's brows knitted as he thought of who might be the uninvited guest. "Stay here....I'll go and see who is at the door."

"Be careful."

Jaokhun smiled. "Just stay put. I'll be back in a jiffy."

Picesri nodded and watched Jaokhun, hoping that whoever came to that beach house, didn't have any ill intention. She even had her fingers crossed, praying that no one would try to harm them.
