I folded all my clothes in my suitcase and looked at the watch on my arm. I have to be at the practice in two hours.

I got dressed and then got in my rental and left. I feel like I'm never at home like I just be everywhere.

I only have two days left with the girls so I really wanna soak it in. I really see how them coaches be feeling having let their players go for long breaks or after graduation.

On my way to the arena, I called Jack. She didn't answer so I guess she's not up. It is 7 in the morning.

The girls be a little salty in the mornings when it comes to early practices so I don't be trying to talk to them unless they talk to me first.

I got my coffee from Starbucks and the went straight to the arena. When I got there I went in and started the air cause they always complaining that it's hot.

O filled the coolers, did some restocks, got the PR, and set up everything. I got the ball rack and turned in the speaker.

Then after that I really had nothing left to do and it's only a quarter past 8. I decided to just shoot around until the players started coming in.

"GOOD MORNING GABSSS!" KK said coming over to hug me.

"good morning kk." I said hugging her back.

Even though it be early she don't let that get her in a bad mood so even if she's loud and a little obnoxious, I'm gone stick beside her cause it's better than attitude.

"you cleaned out locker room?" She said polking her head out the door.

"I did. I had nothing to do." I said giggling.

"you definitely coach material girly pop." She said hyping me up.

After her the players started coming in rapidly. Q even showed up. She only come every blue moon. But she didn't come to practice because she's here empty handed. In her sleeping clothes.

"is coach Geno here?" She asked me politely.

"umm no, he's actually not coming today. He had an early appointment this morning. So he say." I said shrugging.

"why what's up?" I said sitting at the table.

"I just needed to talk to him about me transferring." She said starting to walk away.

"wait. Why do you want to transfer?" I said giving her my undivided attention.

"I don't know. That's just what I want. It's complicated." She said shrugging.

"okay, and I got all day. I'm not judgmental, I promise." I said.

"the girls are so mean now. They don't talk to me, I feel like they be laughing at me. And even Paige. She doesn't say anything but she gives me nasty looks and all." She said.

I could tell she was trying her hardest to hold back emotions. But she got herself here. Nobody else did. But sometimes you have to be an adult and help somebody out.

"so in other words it's not what you want. But it's what you feel like you need?" I asked her.

"exactly. Like I love this team. I love these girls, the environment and all but obviously I don't see the return." She said.

"have you apologized to Paige?" I asked her.

"no. I'm scared. she might not accept it." She said.

"well first off, do that. Scared or not. Cause if you do it even while you're scared, she'll know you mean it." I said.

"and if you don't mind me asking, why? Just why?" I asked her.

"I don't know I wasn't thinking. I guess I just felt in an empty space by myself. Because even before then, they were hanging out and shi-, stuff without telling me." She said correcting herself.

"talking about them and telling their business though, don't think that was the right fit?" I asked her.

"no. I see that now. but it's too late." She said.

"anyways can you just talk to coach for me and let him know?" She asked me.

"I want you to think about this first. And i want you to do what i told you to do, give me a week, if you feel like that's really what you need, consider it done." I said clicking my pen.

"okay." She said nodding.

"and don't cry, we all make stupid mistakes. Learn from it and keep going. life doesn't wait for you to be okay." I said wiping her tears.

I seen her take a deep breath and walk into the locker room. I really don't want her years at UConn to be based off this. Make more, better memories.

"why were you talking to her?" Paige asked me.

"don't worry about it. Umm, yall stretch, geno isn't coming today, so it can be easy or it can be hard. Yall choose." I said stepping out to return a phone call.

How you gone call me. I miss the call, so I call you back, and you don't even answer. I packed my lunch co sidering im gone be at the boxing center all day.

I felt my watching vibrating so i answered the FaceTime call on my phone. I propped my phone up in my kitchen.

"Good morning gorgeous." I heard my girlfriend say on the other end.

"good morning beautiful." I said smiling.

"sexy ahh. Anyways, umm we need to see each other. Honestly I wanna be under you, in your skin, just everything." She said huffing.

"I know I miss you too my baby." I said eating my peaches.

"what are you doing?" She asked me.

"fixing my lunch because I'm gone be at the boxing center all day." I said.

"everyone gets to see you but me." She said whining and pouting.

"it's okay, when you play with Seattle, when we play each other, I gotchu." I said smiling.

"Practice starts in 3 minutes so imma call you and tell you the tea when I get back home. I love youu." She said blowing me a kiss.

"I love you too." I said blowing her one back.

"stay sexyy." She said making a hand heart before hanging up. She is something serious. But something so FINE.
