My Friends Decorated My Room

After a long run all over the place, we made it to a little base in Mion, the planet we were on. "Woah, its so cool in here" Liam gazed around the place. I told them to all follow me as we made it to the place to make suits.

"Heyy Lexi!"
"Hey girl! Oohh, newbies? How sweet, what are yalls names?"
After I introduced them all and acted like they've been here for like 2 weeks, Lexi said something that almost got us all caught.

"Wait, 2 weeks? Isn't the minimum amount of time you have to be an employee of a person working here like 3 months if you want to get a whole suit? Especially one with these" she lifted up the gears I gave her.

"W-well this is an emergency.. So.. Please?"

"Okay" she groaned lightly as she got to work. She nodded at Haley, "You first, sweetheart" as she followed her into the measuring room. Luca went with Tyson, another guy who works in the costume department.

After a good 15 minutes, everyone has been measures and we were all sitting outside of the room, waiting for the costumes to be done. I was fixing the strap on my bag and Charlie came back from the bathroom. "Alright, lets go".

"Wait, aren't we supposed to wait for the suits?"
"Nah, they take up to 2 days to make, especially custom suits like the ones I requested. For now, lets just go to my room." I stood up as the rest of them followed me.

As we were getting close to my little dorm, Charlie and I got a signal from our wristbands for an unexpected meeting.
"Uhm-"
"We have to go"
"Wait, I don't think Charlotte put any meetings in our schedule today-"
"Its 4 beeps, it means emergency beeping" Charlie reminded.
"W-wait, we can't just come to the meeting with you.. right?" Alex exclaimed lightly. "Well yeah uhm.." Charlie thought for a second "Just give them the keys, its door 532" he asserted.
"We can't just-"
"It'll be fine" he exaggerated. I sighed and tossed the keycard to Haley.
"I can trust you with this card?"
"Yes ma'am"
"You will not give this card to anyone no matter the situation?"
"C-correct"
"And you promise to keep your hands to yourself and just rest with the sleeping bags I have in the cabinet"
"Positive"
I thought for a second then walked away with Charlie to the meeting room.

"You trust 'em?"
I sighed "well, we'll see"
We both walked into the room with Charlotte sitting down, sipping her strawberry and avocado smoothie. She put it on a coaster and gestured us to sit down. "S-so.. whats up?"
"Whats up is the fact that the both of you have not came to the Mion 23 base to steal back our papers and information" she glared at me. "Charlotte we have been trying-" "A-a-a-ah-ahh.. no. I need you two to get those papers back this night. You have midnight".
My hands got sweaty. "M-ma'am we have been-"

"You have been dismissed."

The automatic door opened and we both left awkwardly.

"Dude we are so done for" Charlie murmured to me as we were walking back to my room.
"We could just go tonight-"
"The suits"
"W-well we can just leave them?" I cringed. We unlocked the door with a spare key and got uh.. surprised by confetti.

"Surprise!!"

I got my dagger out as fast as Charlie got his gun out and cocked it. Luca screamed and almost jumped into Alex's arms. "AA- O-oh.. Uhm.. Sorry" He slowly got away from Alex's glare as me and Charlie put our weapons away. "S-sorry.. guys" I looked around then became amazed by how they decorated the place.

I'm not really a very "aesthetic" person. I just put my stuff wherever I think they should go and I only have a Lyn Lapid poster and a small picture of me and my parents when I was 9. I observed the room with maybe even my mouth slightly opened. They hung paper decorations and covered my small couch with a pink blanket I kept in the back of my closet I got in 2nd grade. "Y-you guys really decorated this place" I chuckled as I took my hoodie on and threw it on the couch as I always do but Haley caught it. "No, from now until this whole mission is over, we promise to take care of the place, as a way of saying thank you since we're gonna stay here for a while" She put it in a basket filled with my dirty clothes that I didn't even know I had.. and then I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, a picture of me and Stacey. I flinched and grabbed it off of the table and hid it behind me.

"O-oh that was a picture I found near your bed while making it so I decided to frame it-"
"don't" I snapped suddenly, then the guilt hit me. "S-sorry I just-"
"It's fine. M-maybe it was somebody special to you or. something she sat next to me as Luca flopped on my bean bag.

"Here's the keys by the way" Liam tossed me the card. "You guys are the best" I hugged the four of them. Charlie just stood there so I tossed him a small cookie I had in my bag and sat down seriously.

"Now, we have a problem"
