Nightmare

Jame's POV:

I cannot sleep due to this nightmare that has been going back and forth with me since I started high school, it completely breaks me to the point that I would take a sleeping pill before I sleep. But sometimes it is not enough to put me to sleep and my nightmares get worse and even I can't bear it, I told my parents about it but they only took me to the therapist thinking that maybe seeking professional help would help me. For others they got lucky as their nightmare got cured but not for me, I've been suffering alone and no one even bothers to ask me if I'm okay or not these days.

Now I am still drinking the maintenance my therapist gave me to cure my nightmare but that didn't help sometimes sleeping pills wouldn't work either, and that caused me a lot of pain. 

Right now it's exactly 3:45 AM and I woke up because of another nightmare right now Mathy is in there, and in my dream, Mathy and I are in an unknown place. Then feeling scared and lost we saw a house and the lights were on so we decided to go in. As soon as we entered the house it felt kind of eerie, I wanted to go out but Mathy continued to walk in so I just followed him closing the door behind me.

As soon as we got inside we felt that there were no single people in the house so it was a mystery to both of us as to who lit the lights up but we didn't mind it at all, we continued to roam around the kitchen hoping we'd find a food. But our luck didn't side with us there was no food after we checked everything in the kitchen we heard that something was moving upstairs into one of the bedrooms maybe. Mathy who played the hero and bravery, etc. decided to go upstairs and I just followed him once we were upstairs we saw an old man watching a TV and he was sitting in his rocking chair.

Mathy decided that he wanted to go to the old man to ask some questions, but as soon as he stepped forward tip-toeing the old man stopped rocking his chair. That's when Mathy stopped tip-toeing and directly went to the old man and once he was at his back he tapped the old man's shoulder, and that is when the horror started. When Mathy tapped the old man's shoulder the old man then turned to look at Math and his mouth opened wide as if he wanted to devour Math whole and that's when I woke up.

On the outside, I am a muscular man, that girls go crazy for but on the inside I'm different and very few people know about it, especially Math. Even though he treats me as his rival sometimes I still think that he's a good person that I knew when we were kids. I can't even beat my motherfuvking nightmare. 

Since I could not sleep back I just used my phone to scroll through media and socmed to know what is the update now in this world, since my world is only Matthew. Time goes fast and now it's like 6 in the morning since the clouds are starting to light up, I then went outside and saw Math, when I looked at him he was grumpy. Like dude, it's early in the morning and you're grumpy already?

I wasted no time and went to him but when I was in front of him he directly asked me some questions, which is good because this is communication.

"Why are you here?', he asked me

"Why am I not allowed in here? And by the way Good Morning", I answered him but in question

"Good Morning too and yeah, like duh this is our house so you're in my territory", he said back to me, oh yeah I am in their territory will he file a lawsuit against me as trespassing? Maybe not.

"Oh, I'm sorry it's just that when I walked out of our house I saw you here on your terrace so I got confused and decided that maybe you need company", I said to him facing him while he was not facing me, I then sits beside him and maybe that is the right thing I did because he face me immediately but got face by an annoyed face.

"You faced me", I said

He mumbled something but I didn't hear it so I asked him to repeat it back but he just refused.

"What? I didn't hear that, can you say it again?", I asked him

"Oh, it's nothing really, and also I don't need your company so you can go away now", he said to me gesturing me to go away but I didn't budge.

"So you really wouldn't go away?", he asked me while he was sipping his coffee and he then placed the cup beside him where the coffee table was.

"Yes, maybe", I said 

"Ok then I'll just go inside bahala ka na dito", he said and then he suddenly stood up and held his coffee mug but suddenly I grabbed his wrist pulling him to stop.

"What?", he ask

"I, I, I just need some company, last night I couldn't sleep something was bothering me", I said lowering my head

When he hears my voice sounded low than my usual voice he sits down beside me and puts his coffee mug on the coffee table beside him.

"What is bothering you?", he asked me

"I don't know lately kasi, I've encountered some nightmares and sometimes it lasted a week.", I said facing him and I then lowered my head after I said those words.

"Did it bother you so much", he asked me but before I could answer my question he asked me an another question

"Did it affect you so much that it feels like you're decaying now, and I'm not even joking" he said seriously

"Yes, it did that even the medicine that the therapist gave me and the sleeping pill didn't help me sleep well", I said

"I can lend my hand but I can't promise you that you will be cured immediately but as your neighbor and rival maybe I can help you", he said

As soon as I heard that I felt like I'm on cloud nine right now I then looked at him and said.

"Really?", I said 

"Yeah", he said

"Meet me here for like 10 AM", he said

"Ok", I said then went away and went back inside our house

I am so happy that I can't wait for the clock will strike at 10 soon.
