You blinked away your tears, staring at the ground the whole time. This couldn't be happening. He couldn't be leaving. Your safe space, your happiness, your home couldn't be leaving the group for good.
"Stay in touch." Wonbin said, blinking back tears, as he hugged Seunghan.
Seunghan nodded. He then turned to you, the final - and to him, the most important - member.
"Y/N..." He couldn't even start speaking before you burst out crying.
"It's not fair..." you said between sobs, "It's not fair that you have to leave."
"Hey..." Seunghan slowly raised your face, forcing you to look into his eyes. Your heart completely broke at the sight of his tear-filled eyes, "Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean I'll be... gone."
"But-"
"No 'buts'." Seunghan forced a smile, "You're not getting rid of me that easily."
You started crying even harder, pulling him into a hug. There, buried in his chest, you cried your heart out, and he held you the entire time, whispering "It's okay" and "You'll never lose me".
Finally, you pulled away, still staring at the ground.
"I'm sorry..." you wiped your tears away, "You're the one getting kicked out and I am here crying. I should be comforting you right now, not the other way around-"
"Shush." Seunghan softly pulled you into a hug, running his hands through your hair, "You know I'll always find my way back to you. I'll find my way back home."
