The seniors' presence filled the room with an electric energy. The juniors, including Tiara, sat with a mix of anticipation and nervousness, unsure of what was about to happen. The seniors casually took over the front of the classroom, leaning against the desks and chatting amongst themselves. It was clear they weren’t here for any academic purpose.

Tiara kept her head down, trying to focus on the notebook in front of her, but she couldn’t resist sneaking glances at the group of older students. Her eyes drifted back to the one who had caught her attention earlier—Robin. He stood slightly apart from the others, his body relaxed, hands in his pockets, as he exchanged a few words with his friends. There was something effortlessly confident about him, and despite herself, Tiara found it hard to look away.

Suddenly, one of the seniors clapped his hands, silencing the room. “Alright, juniors! Time to get to know you all a little better,” he said, his voice carrying an edge of authority that made the juniors sit up straighter. “We’re going to play a little game. Simple rules: we ask, you answer. And don’t lie—because we’ll know.”

Laughter echoed through the room as the seniors began asking random juniors questions—where they were from, why they chose to study medicine, their favorite subjects. Some questions were lighthearted, others a bit more personal, but it was clear the seniors were testing their younger counterparts, pushing their boundaries.

When it was Tiara’s turn, her heart raced. One of the seniors, a tall girl with a mischievous smile, locked eyes with her. “You,” she pointed, “What’s your name?”

Tiara opened her mouth to speak but felt her voice catch in her throat. Before she could answer, another voice cut through the room. It was Robin. “I’ll ask her,” he said, his tone smooth and casual, yet somehow commanding attention. The other senior stepped back with a grin, leaving the spotlight on him.

Robin turned his gaze directly toward Tiara, and for a moment, everything else faded into the background. It felt like it was just the two of them in the room. “What’s your name?” he asked, his voice gentle but firm.

“Tiara,” she managed to say, her voice soft, almost breathless. Her heart hammered in her chest, and she felt a strange warmth spreading through her. It was just a simple question, but the way Robin looked at her, with that mix of curiosity and something deeper, made her pulse quicken.

Robin’s lips curved into a small smile. “Tiara,” he repeated, as if testing how her name felt on his tongue. “Nice name.”

The game continued, but Tiara was no longer paying attention. She could feel her face growing warm, her mind spinning with thoughts she couldn’t quite make sense of. Was this how people described love at first sight? She’d never believed in such things, but the way Robin had looked at her, the way her heart had reacted to his presence, made her question everything she thought she knew.

As the seniors wrapped up their little game, Robin made one last comment to the class. “If anyone needs help with last year’s exam papers or notes, feel free to ask me. I’ve got all the materials you need.” He shot a glance in Tiara’s direction as he spoke, though his words were meant for the whole class.

The seniors left soon after, but Tiara remained in her seat, her mind replaying the moment over and over again. Robin had noticed her—singled her out—and that single interaction had set her heart racing in ways she hadn’t expected.

She knew it wasn’t just about the game. Something had shifted. Something she couldn’t yet fully understand, but she felt it deeply. In that crowded classroom, amid the teasing and laughter, Tiara had felt the first stirrings of something powerful—something that, even then, she sensed could change her life.
