Louis smiled when he noticed Harry messaged him, and contemplated waiting a little while to reply, but then decided to just answer, after all, this conversation was probably going to last a day, if that.
To Harry: Hi Harry, I'm doing well, and you?
From Harry: I'm a bit hangover to be honest
To Harry: You went out last night?
From Harry: I went to a wedding
To Harry: How was it?From Harry: Pretty nice, but I realized I'm too old to drink so much
To Harry: Your profile says you're 32, that's young, it's also my age so I would know
From Harry: idk... I feel old, I can't drink like I used to which is a shame
To Harry: To be honest I've had the same thought a few times
From Harry: Getting old is terrible
To Harry: So what are your plans for the day
From Harry: To survive this hangover, what about you?
To Harry: Housework... I need to do laundry, vacuum, change the bed sheets, everything
From Harry: That's quite a day
To Harry : At least I'm not doing it hangover
From Harry: Yes, it could be worse
The conversation stopped then, and Louis waited about 10 minutes to see if Harry wrote again, and when he didn't, he gave it a try.
To Harry: Do you live in London?
From Harry: Yes, you too?
To Harry: Yes, I'm from Bristol though
From Harry: I like Bristol, but I've only been there a few times, do you go back often?
To Harry: Yes, to see my family
From Harry: That's nice
One of Louis' friends texted him then, so he got distracted and texted his friend for a while. But then he remembered Harry, and went back to the dating app, and when he opened the conversation he noticed Harry hadn't said anything else.
And because he didn't want to look desperate he didn't message Harry again, deciding to wait until Harry did.
Throughout the day, Louis kept going back to the conversation to check if Harry messaged him, but he didn't... at least not until that night.
From Harry: Hey
To Harry: Hi, how's the hangover?
From Harry: Better, but still not recovered, I'm thankful I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow
To Harry: You have the day off?
From Harry: No, but I work from home
To Harry: What do you do?
From Harry: I have my own business, what about you?
To Harry: I work in finance, but I have to go into the office every day
From Harry: That's awful
To Harry: What's awful? Finance or going to the office?
From Harry: Going to the office every day
