chapter 10 : predator

The melodious sound of birds chirping, coupled with the warmth emitted from the first rays of sunlight peeking through the tree hole, made sacha groan in comfort while she adjusted her position on the fur padded bed.

After lazying around in bed for a while, sacha felt that something wasn't right. Usually by now dawn would have been making a lot of noise with the new projects she came up with to better their lives, So why was it so quiet.

Suddenly realization struck sacha as her eyes flung open and she sprung up from the bed wincing in the process. Her waist hurt like hell and she could faintly feel her nethers throbbing in pain. Then it all came back to her as she remembered what had transpired the previous day.

Omg I lost my virginity to the largest penis I have ever seen no wonder it hurts so much. Damn that kyron he looks so harmless from outside yet he carries a weapon of destruction. I am never going near that thing again.

Turning around she noticed that Dawn's bed was empty and didn't even look like someone slept on it.

Realization dawned on her as she ignored the soreness of her body and leaped out of bed frantically scrambling to put on her shoes as she ran out of the treehouse. Immediately as she stepped out of the house she bumped into something hard causing her to cry out in pain. She looked up to discover non other than kyron standing in front of her. She didn't even have time to feel shy about the happenings between them the previous day, as she tried to sidetrack him and move forward.

Kyron stopped her as he gripped both her shoulders pulling her to his chest in a somewhat awkward hug.

'Has this guy become retarded after sleeping with me? What the hell is he doing right now. This isn't the time for this!' Sacha thought as she struggled to get out of his embrace.

"Kyron let me go what do you think you're doing?"

It was like sacha's screams fell on deaf ears, causing her to become more irritated, as she prepared to back flip kyron in order to escape.

"Stop...just wait a moment I know where you're heading to and that's one of the reasons I'm here, it's about your sister isn't it?"

After hearing what kyron said, sacha paused as she looked up at kyron, her eyes questioning him.

"Where's my sister?"

Kyron noticed the panic in her eyes lessen as sacha herself didn't even realize that she called Dawn her sister.

"Calm down before I tell you"

"What the hell...*sigh* just tell me I assure you I am calm"

"The patrol team reported having seen signs of  carnivorous beastmen around the tribe, alongside them there were also signs of our tribe's long term enemy the Buffalo tribe lurking around."

"Uhh! i don't still get what that has to do with anything are you trying to tell me that my sister has been kidnapped by one of them or something?..."

The silence that followed coupled with the look on kyron's face was enough of an answer to sacha, as her panic mode came back full force.

"No that can't be,... my sister is so strong and careful... she just can't easily be carried away by anyone! without a fight"

"Kale followed her trail last night and it suddenly disappeared in sota."

"S-sota!? You mean the place you first found us in? I-l don't understand....w-what will she be doing there, isn't that place like almost 2hours away from the tribe?"

"Yes, kale was also surprised that she could run so far in such a small amount of time".

Sachas mind started buzzing making her dizzy, her heart beat sped a mile a minute with how fast it was going. She thought to herself how could she have slept so peacefully yesterday while her sister wasn't back home safe and in one piece. What sort of sister was she if she thought giving Dawn space to calm down at night was the right thing to do then something must be seriously wrong with her.
