The meeting with the tribe leader was concluded under hard struggle as he kept on insisting that the females at least take one male whom they can live with who can cater to their needs.
The arguments finally ended when kale volunteered to cater to the two females needs till they finally find their mates. Even though dawn was still reluctant to accept since she believed in her self sustaining skills she still had to come to a compromise.
So the two sisters were allocated their own tree hole which was not as overly large as the tribe leader's, but was bigger than most tree houses in the tribe. Kale and kyron helped the females carve out things like stone beds, tables, wooden bowls, spoons, cabinets, and built a little fireplace in the center of the tree hole.
Kale most certainly enjoyed their interactions as he was amazed with the creative and innovative instruments which came to being by their joint efforts. He couldn't understand why no one thought of inventing such contraptions for as long as the beast world had existed, he even started doubting the beast men level of intelligence and with more objects being produced with just common raw materials in their immediate surroundings quickly turned his surprise in to awe. He now developed a new understanding of these females naming them as the beast gods envoys/priestesses.
The use of their new inventions were quickly propagated through the tribe as many females and males loved to use these new inventions. Especially the use of stone tables for eating and stone beds which were layered with dry grass made sleeping more comfortable and mating more enjoyable.
It has been roughly two weeks since Dawn and Sacha were brought to this new world. They spent the all their time renovating their tree hole so there wasn't enough time to explore this world.
Sacha awoke today with a mission which was to find out more about the rabbit tribe since she had never seen another female after arriving the tribe. She heard from kale that the tribe had a total of 260 males and five females, these females are so deeply guarded by their mates that they are hardly seen around. Stepping out of the tree hole she bumped into Dawn who was accompanied by kale and kyron carrying more bamboo sticks probably to make more baskets or something else, which she wasn't interested in making right now. Definitely not that she couldn't make them, yeah definitely not.
She threw casual greetings towards the trio before leaving which was directed more towards the beast men than her sister.
She didn't want to admit it, but staying together with Dawn in the same living space and in such an unfamiliar environment, made her unconsciously begin to hate her less. And it was unnerving, as she had not fully forgotten all what she was forced to go through and how she had to live by trying to become like Dawn in order to gain acknowledgement from her own parents. It was utterly humiliating to her to such an extent that her jealousy towards Dawn slowly morphed into hate even though Dawn had actually done nothing to warrant such treatment from her. She knew deep down that she couldn't fully hate her adopted sister as she had once loved her in her childhood and she always wanted a sibling as she was an only child. She could remember asking her mom one day while they cuddled to sleep, why she didn't have a sibling to accompany her in their unnecessarily large mansion, and her mom looked at her with something akin to guilt and sorrow as she forced a smile onto her face and reassured her that she would soon have a sibling she just had to be patient. And she did get one, who was as beautiful as a Disney princess and she couldn't wait to shower her with love and start their happy lives together. Only that expectations and reality were drastically different and the shock that brought her changed her completely and she doesn't even know who she really is without her fake sister persona.
Sacha understands that she needs space and time to try to forgive her sister and herself for the way she behaved but she's not sure if she can forget everything that had happened and move on, but as they say 'little steps first'.
