~Evan's P.O.V~

Ally was fast asleep when I woke up, I brushed her hair back behind her ear. I worry about her so much lately, especially after the bus and the prison...she woke up eight times last night. The first time she did I stayed up after, she was scratching her arms and I knew what she wanted to do.

I got up and yawned as I went to take a shower. When I got out Ally was awake and she made a cup of coffee.

"Morning sweetie," she sounded sleepy as she spoke. "Sorry for waking you up so much last night."

"It's okay babygirl," I said as I kissed her forehead.

"I'm going into town a little later to get some things," she said. "If you want to come you can but it's a short trip. I have to um...get...things."

She looked down blushing and I knew right away what she was talking about.

"I'm going with to make sure you're okay, I'm not losing you like we lost our friends," I spoke holding her hand tight. " If you are uncomfortable with me knowing something just tell me okay babygirl?"

"I just need some girl stuff," she said blushing. "I ran out the last time we were here...it won't be for a little but sometimes it's early..."

"We'll go whenever you want okay," my face was warm and I knew I was blushing.

"Can we go right now honey?" She asked quietly.

I nodded and we walked into the garage, we decided to walk. Ally said the excursion would make too much noise and draw in the walkers. I knew she was right. We opened the door and started walking down the driveway. I peeked over at her, she was beautiful, before we left she brushed her hair, one time I asked her if she wore make-up and when I said that she just looked at me confused. I doubt she even tried to make me like her.

I caught myself staring at her in the pharmacy, she noticed and I walked away. She stuffed some things in a duffle bag she brought and we looked around a little more.

"Sweetie why were you looking at me before," she spoke blushing. "I mean it's not like I'm special."

"Oh shut up!" I giggled. "You are special, no matter what."

I kissed her forehead and we started walking home. I heard a moan behind me, it was my sister, Kelly. Ally turned and saw her, she tightened her grip on my hand, I felt tears swelling in my eyes.

"Baby let's go home," she said gently. "Please Evan, I don't want you to cry."

I grabbed my pocket knife and walked up to Kelly, I sunk the knife into her skull. I had tears streaming down my face, Kelly dropped to the ground. Ally's arms wrapped around my waist from behind, I was shaking.

"Baby.." She spoke soft almost a whisper. "Come on we should get home."

We got home without another problem, right when we got downstairs I jumped in bed, Ally sat beside me. I rolled over and rested my head in her lap, I looked up at her face. She looked calm but sad, her eyes were full of tears.

"Sleep my love," she said as her hand caressed my face and she started singing.

She sang no words just a tune, it was quiet and simple it calmed me and I fell asleep in her lap.
