Chapter 4

After receiving Pehli rasoi's gifts from elders, Aarushi was getting ready to go to her company. Her phone rang and she picked it. She started talking while walking downstairs.

"I'm on the way. Arrange the meeting with Liam. Hm-"

Her steps halted when Bua came infront of her.

"I'll call you back" she ended it.

"Bua?"

"Where are you going?" she asked glaring at her.

"To my company"

"Yesterday you got married and on the 1st day you are going office?" she scoffs.

"I didn't understand you?" Aarushi frowns.

"Bring me my coffee!" She ordered her.

"I'm sorry Bua but I'm getting late for office"

"Haww how dare you deny me also you should give more time for your in-laws than work!" she gritted angrily.

Aarushi calmed herself and said "I'm seriously running out of time-"

"So?"

"So my work is more important than your coffee!!" Aarushi replied with sarcasm.

Bua became furious. "Mannerless girl! You wait! Vedika! Vedika!" She started calling her.

Vedika came into the living room. "What happened?"

"Yeh aisi ladki dhundh kar laayi thi? Jabaan toh kaichi ki tarha chalti hai"

[You find this type of girl. Her tongue works as scissors]

Aarushi controlled herself.

Bua told everything to Vedika with her extra masala mix.

Vedika turned to her. "Did you say that?"

Aarushi nodded.

"You did right!" she prompted.

Bua's eyes widened.

"Yes, she's Rajput's daughter in law not any servant! And if you want coffee ask megha or make yourself!"

Bua gritted her teeth and walked away.

Vedika sighed and looked at Aarushi.

"You go, don't mind her"

She nodded. "Before going I used to hug my mother Can I ?"

"You don't have to ask" She pulled her into a hug.

"Bye Maa"

"Have a good day, bachha"

Aarushi walked out of the mansion. She already booked a cab and it came as per time. She left for the company.

The whole day went attending meetings and lots of work. She was so engrossed in her work that she didn't even notice her phone was ringing but it was on silent mode. Almost evening and she was in her cabin going through the files.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door from outside. "Come in"

She didn't look up and her eyes were still on the file.

Someone entered inside and walked towards her direction. He took the file from her hand abruptly.

"What are you doing!" She looked at the person and froze.

Rajveer was standing infront of her with anger clearly visible on his face.

"You?"

"Where is your damn phone?" He growled.
