💗CH-28💗
On her second day at Idris, Princess Caterina wakes early, filled with excitement and anticipation. The sunlight streams through her window, illuminating the elegant decor of her room. She gets dressed in a flowing blue gown that complements her bright eyes, and she brushes her hair until it shines. After a quick breakfast, she steps out of her chamber, eager to explore more of Prince Stefan's home.
As she wanders down the grand hallway, Caterina admires the intricate tapestries and paintings that adorn the walls. Each piece tells a story, and she finds herself lost in their beauty. She can hear the distant sound of laughter coming from the garden, and her heart races. Stefan and his friends must already be up.
When she reaches the garden, the sight before her takes her breath away. The flowers bloom in every color imaginable, and the gentle hum of bees fills the air. Caterina steps onto the stone path, feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin. Suddenly, she spots Stefan standing near a fountain, tossing breadcrumbs to the ducks that paddle around happily.
"Good morning, Princess!" Stefan calls out, his face lighting up with a smile as he sees her. He gestures for her to join him.
"Good morning, Your Highness," she replies, her cheeks slightly flushed. As she approaches, he hands her some breadcrumbs.
"Would you like to help feed the ducks?" he asks, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.
Caterina giggles, taking the breadcrumbs. "I'd love to!"
Together, they toss the crumbs into the fountain, watching as the ducks eagerly swim over to eat. Caterina laughs at their antics, and Stefan joins in, his laughter warm and genuine. She feels more comfortable around him now, the initial nerves from her first day gradually fading.
After a while, they find a shaded bench beneath a flowering tree. The petals drift down like soft rain, and they sit side by side, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
"I am glad you decided to visit Idris," Stefan says, turning to face her. "It is much more enjoyable with company."
"I feel the same way," Caterina replies, looking into his eyes. "I didn't know what to expect, but I'm grateful for this opportunity. Everything is so beautiful here."
Stefan nods, a soft smile on his face. "It is even more beautiful when shared with friends." He pauses for a moment, then asks, "What do you enjoy most about the royal life?"
Caterina thinks for a moment. "I love the gardens and the freedom to explore new places. But sometimes, it feels like there are so many expectations placed on us." She looks down at her hands, fidgeting with her bracelet. "It can be overwhelming."
Stefan's expression turns serious. "I understand. I often feel the weight of my responsibilities, but moments like this make it all worthwhile." He gestures around them. "The beauty of nature, laughter, and good company... these are the things that remind us why we do what we do."
Caterina smiles, feeling a sense of connection with him. They continue to talk about their hopes and dreams, sharing stories from their lives. As the sun begins to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, Caterina realizes how quickly time has passed.
"I should return to the palace for dinner," she says reluctantly, feeling a bit sad to leave this serene moment.
"Of course," Stefan replies, standing and offering his arm again. "But I hope you will join me for a walk after dinner. I have a surprise for you."
