Teriskh, known as the gods' favorite town, is bustling as usual. Mixed chatters and gossips, shouting of merchants from other towns, minor riots filled the town.

This was not Coira's cup of tea. She always dreamed of traveling far away from Teriskh for it was too loud and busy. She wants to have a quiet and peaceful life for a change.

But she can never do anything about it for she is just a simple daughter of a chief. She can never afford to travel far away so she's stuck in this "wretched" place, as to what she prefers to address Teriskh.

Even as the Chief's daughter, Coira's beauty was similar to a noble. Pale porcelain skin, blue eyes like the skies, button nose, and crossbow lips. Unfortunately, her beauty is hidden behind all that dirt and filth all over her.

'Another day, another stressful day.'

Coira went towards her friend's fruit stall, where she delivers her fresh produce. She smiled at her friend, Higa.

Higa is known for her childish demeanor, with her blonde curly hair, green eyes, pointy nose, and thin lips, boys often swoon at her.

"Looking bored and stressed as usual, are we?" Higa chuckled. Everytime Coira delivers her produce, she always wore a bored expression.

"Haha, right. Here's some fresh produce, that would be 56 silvers please." Coira stretched out her hand.

"Already?"

Coira nodded and stretched out her hand.

"50 silvers." Higa tried bargaining.

"No can do, I'm afraid." Coira shrugged and Higa let out a loud sigh.

"Eh? We're friends, Coira. We should help eachother." Higa pleaded. Even though she knows Coira wouldn't allow it, she still attempts to bargain with her.

"Strictly business, madame." Coira smirked, emphasizing the word 'business'.

Higa smiled and payed Coira 60 silvers. Coira looked at her confused.

"Keep the change, you earned it." Higa smiled.

Coira smiled and immediately put the money inside her purse.

"I really admire you, Coi. If I were you, I would have given up, you know?" Higa laughed.

"Well, I'm not weak." Coira bragged and carried the baskets. They both waved goodbyes and Coira went towards her another costumer.

She was nearby to her another costumer's stall when suddenly a riot came out.

'Not this again.'

People panicked and some already ran. Coira analyzed the situation carefully.

'The reek of alcohol is evident so they must be drunk. That knife looks blunt. One... two... three...., 6 men in total.'

Coira chuckled.

'Piece of cake.'

"Hey!! You scoundrels, don't you have anything more important to do than sitting here and drinking? Don't you have families?" Coira shouted that stopped the riot.

The drunk men smirked and laughed. They walked towards Coira, but Coira didn't move.

"Hey, you're getting yourself in trouble." A merchant whispered to Coira.

Coira smugly smiled.

"I got this."

"Well, well, well, looks like we have found our selves a pretty company." One of the men spoke.

"Come here, kitten. We'll make sure you'll have a fun time." One of the men walked towards her, stumbling a little. The other men also started walking towards her, smirking and eyes glinting with lust.

Coira smirked, almost evilly, and positoned herself in fighting mode.

"Oh, I'm going to have loads of fun." Coira clenched her fist.
