Tiger hands me some new clothes.

"Why am—" I start.

"Get changed first." He tells me

I go into the small bathroom and peel my old clothes off.

The new clothes are stretchy but cling to my body. Once they're on I walk out.

"You can just set those there." Tiger says pointing at a table.

I place my folded clothes on it.

"Tiger. What's going on?" I ask in a hushed tone.

He comes closer and fixes the straps on my shirt while he talks in a whisper.

"A deal was struck. You are going to be here now. In the Anbu." He says.

I shake my head.

"Listen. You nearly were executed. So think of this as a favor. Plus your little boyfriend has angered the elders. If you show allegiance to Danzo you can become trusted." He says.

"Here." He adds handing me a pair of fingerless gloves.

I slip them on and follow him to the next room.

"You can pick out a pair of shoes over there." He says pointing to a small cabinet.

Am I really going to be an Anbu?

After I slip on my shoes Tiger places a hand on my shoulder.

I only realize then that I'm crying.

"You'll get some time to adjust." He says trying to comfort me.

Just as I'm about to speak another man walks in.

"Akari?" He says.

I wipe my face and say, "Yes?"

"I'm Tenzo. You'll report to me." He says.

I nod.

"You will start tomorrow. Try to get some sleep." He says before leaving.

Tiger waves me to follow him. He takes me through a door and it leads to a staircase.

At the top is a view of the forest. He sits on the ledge and pulls one of his knees to his chest.

I sit next to him.

We are just listening to the trees swaying.

After a while my stomach growls loudly.

I see a brief smile on Tigers face. He takes me to a small room where the food is made.

He points at a table and I sit at it. He grabs food and returns.

I frown and stir my steaming soup.

"You'll like it. The foods pretty decent." He says.

He talks as I eat.

He tells me all about the rules and dress regulations. Then tells me about food more and where the laundry room is.

I finish my food. It was alright.

He then leads me to where the sleeping area is.

He finds an empty spot and hands me a blanket.
"This'll be yours." He says.

I nod and he is about to say something when he gets interrupted.

"Hi I'm Cala." A woman says holding her hand out.

I don't shake it.

She laughs and puts her hands on her hips.

"A feisty one, huh?" She says.
