A/N cheeky little add on to the tea oneshot i did because it was actually so cute and i wanted to continue it on
Third person pov:
It had been a few days since the tea incident. From that day char took it upon herself to bring her and mia a drink every morning. Mia didn't complain and she actually thought it was quite cute, it meant char would be in the office a lot more and they where really enjoying being in eachothers company. They'd both start the day sat at different desks but by the time lunch would roll around they'd both be sat at marjories softly giggling completely forgetting everything else just enjoying one anothers company.
Char enjoyed seeing this more relaxed and kind side of mia and she was well aware the red head had only let her guard down with her. This had become very evident when other people would enter the office and her entire demeanour would shift and she would become sarcastic and cold once again. It was another day and they where sat deep in conversation. They'd become quite friendly and it had let to small touches and lingering glances. Currently char was explaining how her weekend with her girls was while absentmindedly playing with mias rings as her red head asked further questions and sat and listened. The work for the day already completely forgotten and their tea and coffee going cold.
Sorscha walked in and suddenly paused in her tracks at what she was witnessing. Mia and Char where sat at marjories desk too engrossed in conversation to notice her, Mia was smiling and looking at char with almost adoration and char was telling a story while playing with mias hand. The two blissfully unaware of the world outside the office with them in. She then cleared her throat.
"Hey charlie can i speak to you?"
The two girls suddenly both jumped not realising someone had been watching them. Char quickly removed her hand from mias and cleared her throat.
"Yeah of course! What can i do for you" She beamed.
"Can we step into the staff room for a second" The irish women replied.
"Oh yeah obviously yeah come on lets go." She sounded disappointed and shot Mia an apologetic look as sorscha began to walk out
"Go on sweetheart i'll be here when ur back then we can go grab some lunch?" The red head shot her a small smile
"Yes please, i'll be back soon" a small smile reappeared on her face.
Sorschas POV:
I wouldn't lie i was a bit confused as to what I'd just walked in on but this certainly was not the first time id seen the two women engrossed in one another. I saw the way mia would walk past the baby room taking the long way to the office just to shoot charlie a smile or make sure no one was causing her any bother. I also saw the way charlie would find any excuse to go to the office or find a job that needed to be done in there. It was an unexpected pairing but i was not blind they clearly brought out a new and different side to eachother. We sat down on the sofas and i faced the brunette completely forgetting why i originally asked her to talk.
"So whats going on there charlie" I raised my brow shooting a look at her.
"Whats going on where?" She sounded confused and nervous probably hoping i wouldn't ask her about mia.
"Between you and the mean redhead. I saw the way she was looking at you and actually smiling"
"She was" The girl was practically beaming at the information. Not very subtle if you ask me.
"Wow charlie aren't you subtle. I also saw the way you where looking at her and playing with her rings.Dont think i haven't also noticed the fact you bring in two coffees every morning now" i shot her a look
"Its a tea and a coffee. Mia doesn't like coffee"
"How adorable you already know what she does and doesn't like"
"Sorscha its nothing we're colleagues, we work together"
"Certainly doesn't seem like nothing, look i dont know whats going on with you but clearly mia brings out a more fiery side to you and shes put the spring back in your step. I know you charlie so if theres anything you wanna talk about" I paused and looked at her wedding ring. "Im always here"
She looked at me in shock , honestly i thought i might've overstepped but her face softned and she sighed before she spoke.
"Thank you Sorscha, ive not really told anyone but my husband and I seperated , I'm pretty sure Amelias figured it out and shes just being nice we're friends, i think" She seemed to then look almost lighter.
"Thank you for telling me Charlie as I said im always here for ya, but i think we both know you and mia are definitely friends and bordering a bit more than that" I winked at her and she suddenly went bright red.
