A few days had passed since Lucifer's arrival at the Hazbin Hotel, and the atmosphere had shifted noticeably. The staff had learned to navigate the delicate balance of his presence, and the bar had become a favored gathering spot for his informal chats. Lucifer sat at the bar, swirling a glass of deep crimson liquid, his golden eyes scanning the room with a mix of amusement and curiosity.
Husk, the gruff cat bartender, wiped down the counter, glancing at Lucifer with a blend of respect and exasperation. "You know, for someone who claims to be the King of Hell, you sure like hanging out with the riffraff," Husk quipped, pouring himself a drink.
Lucifer chuckled, leaning back against the bar. "Oh, come now, Husk. Everyone deserves a little levity. Besides, these sinners are far more entertaining than the stuck-up bureaucrats back home. At least here, the chaos has a certain charm to it."
As they bantered, the door swung open, and Angel Dust strutted in, his confident demeanor radiating across the room. The spider demon's gaze landed on Lucifer, and a sly grin spread across his face. He made his way over, his hips swaying with exaggerated allure.
"Look who we have here!" Angel said, leaning on the bar next to Lucifer, his voice dripping with flirtation. "The great hellish dick himself! What brings you down to our little slice of sin, huh?"
Lucifer raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Ah, Angel Dust. I didn't realize you had an interest in fine company."
"Interest? Honey, I'm all about the fine things in life," Angel replied, flashing a grin that showed off his sharp teeth. He leaned in closer, lowering his voice to a sultry whisper. "And let's be real, who wouldn't want to have a little fun with the King? You've got that whole 'powerful ruler' vibe going on, and I'm just a sucker for authority."
Husk rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the smirk creeping onto his face. "You're gonna scare him off, Angel. He's not like the other sinners you usually go after."
Angel feigned shock, placing a hand on his chest. "Scare him off? Never! I just know how to show a man a good time." He leaned closer to Lucifer, his voice low and teasing. "What do you say we skip the small talk and get to the good part? I've got some tricks up my sleeve that could make even the most powerful ruler weak in the knees."
Lucifer's laughter rang out, echoing through the bar. "Is that so? You think you can charm me, Angel? I'm intrigued." He took a sip of his drink, eyeing Angel with amusement. "What's your angle here? Trying to score some favors with the big man?"
Angel shrugged, maintaining his flirtatious tone. "Maybe I just think you're a total snack, your highness. I mean, how often does a guy like me get to flirt with royalty?" He leaned even closer, their faces inches apart, his breath warm against Lucifer's skin. "Besides, I like playing with fire, and you? You're the hottest flame in Hell."
The banter drew attention from other patrons, many snickering at the audacity of Angel's advances. Lucifer leaned in slightly, intrigued by the boldness of the spider demon. "You really don't hold back, do you?"
"Nope," Angel replied with a wink. "Life's too short to play coy. So what do you say? Wanna have a little fun? I promise I'm worth it."
Lucifer regarded him for a moment, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. "You're certainly entertaining, that much I'll give you. But what makes you think I'm interested in a little 'fun' with a sinner like you?"
"Because I know how to make it worth your while," Angel shot back, his confidence unwavering. "I've got moves that can turn even the coldest hearts to mush." He winked again, leaning back with a casual swagger, waiting for Lucifer's response.
Husk couldn't suppress his chuckle this time. "Good luck with that, Angel. I'd like to see you try to break through the King's icy demeanor."
Lucifer raised his glass, a glimmer of mischief dancing in his eyes. "Challenge accepted, Angel Dust. But you may find that taming the King of Hell isn't as easy as you think."
The tension in the air thickened, a palpable mixture of flirtation and challenge hanging between them. Angel's grin widened, emboldened by Lucifer's playful tone. "Just you wait, your Majesty. I'll have you begging for more in no time."
With that, the banter continued, the bar filled with laughter and playful jabs, as Angel Dust tried to seduce Lucifer, oblivious to the brewing storm between the King and his unexpected admirer.
