10. Maa!?

LAVANYA'S POV :

"What happened!? Is everything fine!?" I asked getting tensed looking at the duo crying and Skanda was sobbing too.

"Nothing is fine Lavu di. Everything is upside down." Soundarya said hugging me even more tightly and cried even more hard.

"Shh.... Its ok Sonu. Don't cry baby. Come inside first." I said.

I then looked at those two men who were standing there. I guess the one who was standing infront understood my unasked question.

"I'm Varun. I'm there elder brother." He said. I just simply smiled at him. But his eyes said something else. Seems like even he wanted to cry, he was trying his best to hide his tears. But thanks to my eye reading skills.

I then looked at the other who stood behind Varun. He didn't say anything. Again Varun spoke,"He's our driver." I just nodded my head and smiled at the other man. He too returned a genuine smile and went off saying something to Varun.

I asked all the four to get in. Aarushi wiped her tears as le left hugging me. But Sonu was still crying. I then looked at Pari who had just woke up and was rubbing her eyes and Anitha aunty was also waking up now.

"Pari, you woke up." I said and she looked at me and smiled and then she looked at the other four. First she smiled, and then she was shocked, and then she became sad, or I can say angrily sad.

"Soundarya, what happened. Why are you crying Sona!?" She asked and then Sonu looked at her. She cried even more. Arghhh...... My heart hurts to see all my people crying like this. What is special today. Crying day or what?

"Arre, why are you guys sad at first place!?"Anitha aunty asked.

"Sh.... Enough Sonu. Don't cry please. First sit here." I said making her sit.

"Enough everyone. Please stop crying. I'll make coffee. Ok? And then you guys can continue your crying session after drinking it. Ok?" I said and Aaru and her elder brother Varun chuckled.

Both I and Anitha aunty went inside the kitchen.

"What happened Lavanya!? When did they come. And who is that other guy with them? And why are they crying now?" She asked me while I stood there simply looking at nothing particularly.

"Even I don't know what happened aunty. They came just now and started crying hugging me as soon as I opened the door. And that other guy, he is their elder brother. Varun bhaiya." I said. "I am not getting what's wrong today aunty. Everyone who are close to me are crying for some or the other reasons. At first Amma and Appa. Now these people. Idk but it hurts aunty, to see them crying." I said as tears started to form in my eyes which I stopped from flowing by blinking my eyes continuously.

"Lavanya. Beta dekho. I know you are angry, frustrated, feeling low. But not now beta. Its not like I'm saying you to control your emotions. But Lavu, now its only you who can give your shoulders to them. Priya is way too sensitive. So please bachcha, don't cry. Be strong." She said.

"Ok aunty." I said. But then I remembered her saying that I need to know something.

"Aunty, you had said that there is something which I should know right? Say me what it is."

"Actually Lavanya, its not my place to say you that."

I simply nodded and added sugar to the milk which was boiling by now. I took out instant coffee powder and added it into milk. I took out 8 coffee cups.

"Actually Lavanya. I don't want any coffee. I'll get going. Its already late and Prerna will be waiting for me. She'll get tensed simply." Aunty said and I just nodded my head in understanding. Prerna is her daughter who is 16 years old.

I took the tray and went to living area where all the 4 were sitting and Pari came back after bidding bye to aunty. I gave them the coffee and everyone drank it simply. I went to wake up Amma and Appa.

When I went inside, Appa was waking up lazily. Automatically smile formed on my face seeing him. I then went to him.

"Good evening Appa."

"Good evening Lavu." He said ruffling my hairs I then went towards Amma's side to wake her up.

"Amma, wake up. See the time. Its already 8:00 pm."

She woke up suddenly in shock.

"What? Its already 8:00 pm huh? Why didn't you wake me up little early huh? Say me. Oh my god, ther-" but Appa interrupted her.

"Shh.... Meri rani sa. Now put full stop. Don't blame my kid. She is waking you up from around half an hour but you didn't wake up." He said and I was controlling my smile.

"Oh shut up Mr. Raj Saab. This is the Nth time you are playing this prank on me." My mom glared at him. "And you, why didn't you wak...... Lavanya what happened? What are you thinking?" Amma asked as she saw me thinking about the trio crying outside.

"Actually Amma. Aaru, Sonu, Skanda along with their elder brother Varun bhaiya are here."

"What's there in that to worry about Lavu?" Appa asked and Amma ruffled my hair.

"Actually Appa, after making you both sleep even we all slept. And it was already 7:30 when I woke up and checked on you guys too. So I thought of making coffee and then waking you guys. But then after hearing the calling bell I went out to check who it was and it was them. But before asking anything Aaru and Sonu hugged me and started crying very much. Even Skanda was sobbing. I don't know what happened." I said with a huff. But Amma's mood became dull.

"Amma. I said na not to worry about anything."

"Actually Lavanya it is th-" but I interrupted her.

"Its ok Amma. Don't say anything now. Ok? You can say everything whenever you feel like saying."

Soon Pari came inside.

"Amma!!!" Saying she hugged her. The mother daughter duo hugged each other for good 2 minutes and then I spoke.

"See Appa. These duo don't even remember that we exist." I said.

"Yes Lavanya. And see that little devil. She is hugging my wife like she is her wife." I looked at him instantly with 'are you serious' look. Soon Amma threw a pillow which fell on his head.

I laughed looking at him only to receive a glare from him.

"Amma you can't do that to my Appa." I said with some serious tone.

"Appa ki chamchi." Saying this Pari threw a pillow at me. I gave her a death stare and she ignored it royally. I just huffed at her.

"Now enough everyone. Come lets see what happened to those 4 sitting outside." I said a little seriously. All of us went outside.

As soon as everyone saw us, those 3 looked at Varun bhaiya and he stood up suddenly and looked at Amma with some hidden emotions in his eyes. Soon tears started to form in his eyes. He came and stood infront of Amma. She looked at him with a genuine smile on her face. But what shocked us was........

"Vaishu Maa...." Saying this he hugged her leaving all the 4 of us shocked.
