15. Truth!

AUTHOR'S POV :

Varun was shocked when he heard his brother asking about Lavanya. He anyways wanted to say him everything. But now he felt little difficult to say as this was so sudden.

"Bhaiya. See 1st relax. I'll say you everything. But please bhaiya. Please sit down."

Abhiram fisted his palm to control his anger. But he didn't wanted to scare his brother either. So he sat down simply.

"Bhaiya, actually what you think about Lavanya is not at all true bhaiya. Yes, what you think about her is not true. Bhaiya trust me. We didn't do it intentionally but when you asked me and the guards to search all the information about the people who tried to ra*e Aarushi, I asked the guards to search for the source and they went to the hotel. They checked the CCTV and only the footage of the corridors were available and it was highly difficult for us to recover the footages inside that room. In that they found out that Lavanya was taking Aarushi towards the room and that is when they recorded it and gave the footages to you. Even I was angry at her. I went to Aarushi. I wanted a confirmation and showed her the soft copy and she was shocked to see it. She said that everything in the footage was a lie." He said leaving Abhiram shocked.

"Yes bhaiya, she said that everything in the video was a lie and that never happened. She didn't know anything about Lavanya at that time. She said that around 4 to 5 people attacked her in the corridor itself. But Lavanya saw that and that poor girl just came forward to help Aarushi even when she didn't know who she was. Lavanya brought chilli powder and mixed it with water and threw it on those people and by mistake it went into Aaru's eyes too. They all shouted and whimpered in pain. And Lavanya made Aarushi stand up and she took her out. After few minutes Aarushi was able to open her eyes. She hugged Lavanya and cried out. Lavanya consoled her. And within no time someone grabbed Lavanya's hair and she turned back to see that guy still blinking his eyes to open his eyes properly. But Lavanya pushed Aarushi aside and asked her to run. When Aarushi didn't listen to her, she shouted at her and in fear Aarushi ran and came down and that was when me and you went there. After learning about this from her mouth I ran and came to you, but you had already went out with Suhas Bhai. But then I contacted Suhas Bhai and I said him everything but he said you had went somewhere even without informing him as the guards had found one of those 5 criminals dead in the same hotel." Varun said with tears in his eyes.

"Bhaiya, I then myself found out about Lavanya. But then I got to know that she was admitted in hospital and she had been brutally injured. I informed about her and got to know that she was here with her parents on her father's business trip. That's it. I then didn't find her anywhere few days. Even papa knew about this. I asked for his help as I was scared of what you would do. Papa said that she came to Bengaluru back. He then asked me to give her the scholarship in our institution. So I approved her scholarship and that is why I asked Aarushi to ask you to send her to Bengaluru to study and that is why she said that she felt suffocating there in Rajasthan. So I acted along with her. And then with full security, we left her here. That is when Aarushi became friends with her bhaiya. She said that Lavanya didn't recognise her. And at 1st she didn't talk to anyone itseems. And that is when Aarushi became close to her somehow. Lavanya is not a danger to Aarushi bhaiya. She is her protector. She is the goddess herself." He said as he sat down crying.

"Wh.... what happened to la... Lavanya that d....day?" Abhiram asked as he choked on his breath and was trying his best to control his tears.

"I don't know bhaiya. I even asked papa. But he didn't say anything. He said that he didn't know anything."

"Why did you hide this Varun? Why did you hide this?" Abhiram asked feeling betrayed, feeling hurt, feeling guilty.

"I was scared Bhai. I still remember how brutally you killed that guard who said that Lavanya might not have done this. I remember how you got panic attack when Suhas bhaiya thought of saying this to you."

"I would have never cared even if I died Varun. But..... But I hated that girl, I hated that innocent soul, I cursed her always Varun. I always thought of ending her life within few days Varun. I thought of torturing her. You remember Varun. I had said you about some voice which healed me without their knowledge. It is she Varun. It is la....lav.... Lavanya." He said and sat with a thud.

"I'm sorry bhaiya. I'm really sorry." Varun said and hugged him. Even Abhiram hugged him back immediately.

"I'll never forgive myself if something heinous act have been happened with her Varun. She healed me without her own knowledge. But I thought it was her who was behind mine and Aaru's trauma." He said as tears made its way down and he wiped it immediately. He went out. He went back. He went to home. He slept seeing the ceiling. He stood up suddenly.

"I'll make sure you'll get happiness you deserve Lavanya. I'm sorry. Please forgive me." He said as tears made their way down his cheeks. He took a quick bath and went towards Vaishnavi's house.

Here Varun stood up once his brother went out.

"Now you are safe Lavanya. Now I don't know about me but bhaiya will make sure you'll never be hurt again." His chain of thoughts broke when he heard his phone ringing.

"Hello."

"Hello sir, wo Lavanya mam got into small accident." The guard on the call said.  Varun widened his eyes. Anger rushed into his veins.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN BY SMALL ACCIDENT HUH?"

"Sir actually wo I thought you said us to look after Aarushi mam and Soundarya mam. So we didn't go after Lavanya mam plus the store was not so far from temple an-"

"DARE YOU CONTINUE AND YOUR TONGUE WILL BE CUT AND PUT UP TO THE DOG." Varun shouted as his anger was increasing.

"Make sure to get that car and the owner to our place. And you know what else to do afterwards. Remember one scratch on Lavanya, and you guys will be found in hell." Saying this Varun cut the call.

He then called Aarushi, "COME BACK NOW." he said actually shouted and rushed out to go to house as soon as possible. He always regretted for not helping Lavanya and he lost it when he heard his guard saying she got into an accident. He hated the fact that she was again in trouble that too when she was near him.
