Blue Eyes

7:05 PM. You keep looking at the time on your phone over and over again, nervously waiting for a text or knock on your door. You started getting ready for your date as soon as you got home from the cafe. You didn't want to waste any time nor be late for your first date together. Your stomach was and is still full of butterflies. You let out an impatient sigh and rest your chin on your hand, staring down at your phone once again.

"Relax....he's not going to magically show up right now." Utahime says from the kitchen. She comes over to the couch and sits next to you, handing you a glass of water.

You take the glass from her hand and sip it. "I know...I'm just anxious. First date jitters." You say as you place the glass down on the coffee table.

"You'll be fine! Just remember...you wouldn't have been able to do this without me." She says with a large smirk on her face.

You roll your eyes and gently push her. She lets out a laugh and playfully pushes you back.

"Can you see how I look?" You say as you stand up, moving away from the couch.

Satoru said to wear something formal when you spoke about tonight's events. He let you know you guys would be going out to an upscale bar, he mentioned there would be food was well if you were to get hungry. But reassured if the food wasn't doing it for you guys, you would go somewhere else to grab a bite to eat.

You wore a blue strapped midi dress with a high slit on the side, black heels, a small silver necklace, and a black clutch in hand . You had only worn this outfit once to a wedding, but absolutely loved the way you looked in it the first time around. Your nerves are getting the best of you and making you second guess what you chose.

"Do a 180 for me." Utahime asks as she leans back.

You do a full turn, making sure not to go to fast so she's able to see every angle of you. She hums and asks for another full turn on the opposite side. You do as she says and give a weak smile.

"You look hot. Doubt Gojo would disagree with me." She says as she crosses her arms.

You both hear a unexpected loud knock on the door and each let out an audiable yelp. You look at one another and snicker at your reactions. She immediately gets up and grabs your phone, handing it to you so you didn't have to reach over to get it. You whisper a faint 'thank you' to her. She gives you a nod and signals you to leave.

You walk over to the door, taking in a deep breath and quickly let it out while nervously turning the handle. You found the ratherly tall man at your door, looking as handsome as he did in his Tinder photos. He was dressed in a light blue button up with the sleeves slightly rolled up, dark grey slacks, and black dress shoes.

"You look even more beautiful in person." He states as his piercing blue eyes stared into yours.

He hands you a bouquet of white roses and gives a gentle smile. You accept them, placing them into your arms. You could feel how rosy your cheeks felt from his comment and gesture.

"Thank you, they're really beautiful." You say as you look down at the pearly white roses.

"Not as beautiful as you." He replies back with a cheeky smile.

"Alright kiddos, leave and do your thing already. HAVE A GOOD TIME!" Utahime yells as she practically scoots you out the door and closes it behind you.

You let out an annoyed sigh and pinch the bridge of your nose, Satoru chuckles at both reactions and softly grabs your hand. He kisses it and holds on to it.
