It was the day everything changed for Jin and Namjoon, though neither could have predicted how. In the grand halls of a luxurious estate, both families gathered to formalize the union of two business empires. For Jin, the heir to Hybe Corporation, the occasion was monumental—not because of the merging of businesses, but because he had always envisioned his marriage to be filled with love, care, and genuine connection. But from the moment the arrangement was proposed, he realized this marriage might never be about those things.

Jin, with his sharp features and gentle demeanor, had always been known for his grace under pressure. A hardworking man, he had spent years learning the ropes of his family's business while managing to keep his dreams of a loving home life alive. He wasn't afraid of hard work; he embraced it. But the thought of entering a marriage that felt like nothing more than a merger weighed heavy on his heart.

Across from him sat Namjoon, the CEO of BigHit Enterprises—a man known for his relentless work ethic and steely focus. Namjoon had achieved unparalleled success in his career at a young age, and now, this marriage was just another strategic move in his mind. While he respected Jin for his business acumen and role in Hybe, he didn't see the union as anything more than another step in his career. Love, affection, and partnership were not his priorities—success was.

Their parents, powerful figures in the world of business, had orchestrated this union as a way to consolidate power, creating a bond between Hybe Corporation and BigHit Enterprises that would make them even more formidable. Both Jin and Namjoon knew what was expected of them, and they played their roles well—at least on the surface._

[Flashback to Arrangements]

The formal discussion of the marriage had begun weeks earlier in the grand conference room of the Kim family estate. The heads of both families sat across from each other, reviewing financial documents, projections, and the benefits of the merger.

Jin's father, Mr. Kim, leaned forward with a satisfied smile. "This arrangement will make both families the most influential in South Korea. Hybe and BigHit joining forces—it's what the business world has been waiting for. And, of course, the marriage will cement that bond."

Mrs. Kim, Jin's mother, smiled warmly at her son. "Seokjin will make a wonderful partner for Namjoon. He's hardworking, kind, and has a good head on his shoulders."

Namjoon's father, Mr. Kim Nam-il, nodded curtly. "I agree. Namjoon doesn't need a wife who's going to distract him from his work. He needs a partner who understands the demands of business, and Seokjin has been raised in the world of corporate life. It's a perfect match."

Namjoon's mother chimed in, a hint of excitement in her voice. "And think of the publicity! The headlines alone will boost the market value of both companies. 'Hybe and BigHit: A Match Made in Heaven'—it practically writes itself."

Jin, sitting quietly to the side, felt a sinking feeling in his chest as he listened to the conversation. He knew his parents meant well, but the way they spoke about the marriage made it clear that it was nothing more than a business deal to them.

Namjoon, who had been silently scrolling through emails on his phone, glanced up only when his name was mentioned. "I agree with the projections," he said flatly, setting his phone down. "This is a smart move for both companies. We should move forward."

Jin looked at Namjoon, hoping for something—anything—that showed Namjoon cared about more than just the numbers. But Namjoon's face was unreadable, as always.

Jin's father cleared his throat. "There's more to marriage than just business, Namjoon. I hopeyou understand that while the company matters, your relationship with Seokjin matters too."

Namjoon nodded out of respect, but his words were detached. "Of course. We'll make it work. I'll ensure that both the marriage and the company remain stable."

Jin's mother smiled, oblivious to her son's growing concern. "I'm sure you will, Namjoon. And Seokjin will do his part as well. He's always been the type to give his all."

Mrs. Namjoon added in a cheery tone, "We'll start planning the wedding immediately. It will be the event of the year."

As the parents continued to discuss the logistics, Jin leaned closer to Namjoon. "Is this really how you feel about all of this?" he asked quietly, careful not to attract attention from the others.

Namjoon barely looked at him. "We both know what this is, Seokjin. Let's not complicate things. It's a business arrangement. That's all."

Jin opened his mouth to respond, but he found himself at a loss for words. For Namjoon, it seemed, there was nothing more to discuss.
