It had been an evening filled with laughter and warmth, just like every night in the Kim household. Little Jungkook was now five years old, full of life and energy, always keeping Jin and Namjoon on their toes. But tonight, something felt different. Jin sat at the dinner table, his mind preoccupied, swirling with a mix of emotions and disbelief.
Namjoon, noticing his husband's unusual silence, placed a hand on Jin's shoulder. "What's on your mind, love?"
Jin bit his lip, glancing at Namjoon, his face flushed with embarrassment. "We need to talk, Namjoon."
Namjoon leaned in, concern etched on his face. "Is everything alright?"
Jin huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "No, it's not alright. In fact, it's your fault!" His face reddened even more, avoiding Namjoon's eyes.
Namjoon blinked, utterly confused. "My fault? What did I do?"
Jin stood up abruptly, pacing the room before finally blurting it out. "I'm pregnant. Again."
The silence in the room was palpable. Namjoon stared at Jin, his eyes wide with shock. They had been told the chances of Jin getting pregnant again were slim after the complications during Jungkook's birth. How was this even possible?
Suddenly, Namjoon broke into a wide grin, walking over to Jin and wrapping his arms around him. "I can't believe it. This is incredible!" His voice was filled with excitement.
But Jin, still flustered, pushed him away, his cheeks burning red. "Don't touch me, you pervert! Look at what your 'loving me' has done! Now how am I supposed to tell my parents and friends? It's so embarrassing!" He glared at Namjoon, but there was a hint of playful accusation in his voice.
Namjoon chuckled, completely unbothered by Jin's protests. He leaned in closer, lowering his voice in that familiar teasing tone. "Sorry, sweetheart. But I like loving you. A lot." He winked, causing Jin to huff in frustration.
Jin, though flustered beyond belief, couldn't hide his smile. "You...you pervert," he mumbled under his breath.
Namjoon laughed, gently cupping Jin's face. "You also like it, don't you?"
Jin sputtered, his face turning even redder. "You...you...! How dare you!" He swatted Namjoon's chest lightly, though his protests lacked any real heat. Deep down, he couldn't deny the truth in Namjoon's words.
Just then, their little boy, Jungkook, came running into the room, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Mommy! Daddy! I want a sister!" he exclaimed, jumping up and down with his little arms reaching toward them.
Jin and Namjoon exchanged a surprised glance before bursting into laughter. Namjoon scooped Jungkook up into his arms, holding him close as Jin joined them, kissing their son's cheek. "A sister, huh?" Namjoon teased, grinning at Jin, who was blushing even more now.
Jin, trying to keep a straight face, ruffled Jungkook's hair. "Well, we'll see about that, little one."
The three of them stood together, embraced in each other's warmth, their hearts full of love and joy as they faced the exciting future ahead.
As Jungkook giggled in their arms, Namjoon leaned in, whispering softly to Jin, "See? Our little family is growing... and I couldn't be happier."
Jin rolled his eyes playfully but smiled, his heart full. "You're impossible."
Namjoon kissed Jin's forehead lovingly. "And you love me for it."
And as their laughter filled the room, their future as a family felt brighter than ever.
**The End.**
