"Are you alive Hashran?" Reka said slowly as if speaking to a child as she poked Fenala's forehead.

"What did you do to me!?" Fenala shouted at the two floating over her. "Wait. Did you just speak my language?" She looked at Reka in disbelief.

"Don't be idiotic, you are speaking our language." Yuval said harshly, his face shifting into a red-orange hue. "You will answer our questions now Hashran."

"How am I speaking your language? And who is Hosh-run? Why do you keep calling me that? Who are you actually? And why am I still tied up with this stupid glow rope!?" Fenala half asked, half screamed at her captors. Yuval made a motion with his hand, as if swatting the questions out of the air. His face was now a yellow color before bleeding back to it's original coral.

"I have performed the ritual on you in order for us to communicate. You are Hashran because you are Hashran and I will not release your bonds because you are Hashran..." The last he said with some uncertainty.

Fenala took a deep breath, as deep as she could manage with the constriction of the rope around her, and then let out a heavy sigh. "Okay... What is a Hash-run?" Fenala thought that she might as well try to get some information since she couldn't escape at the moment and it didn't look as if they were going to let her go.

"As if you do not know monster!" Reka spat the words out as her scales turned a shimmering red. "Only Hashran come from the veil. You and your creations. I wanted to end you the moment you appeared, but Yuval says that we have to take you to our home."

"Be calm Reka. It cannot be blamed for what it is." Yuval said to her before looking back down at Fenala. "Do you truly not know what you are?"

Fenala sighed again, this time with a little more frustration. "I am human. I have never heard of this word, Haeshran. I am an explorer sent from my planet to go beyond the veil that surrounds my home star." She spoke with earnest, looking up at Yuval then hesitantly meeting Reka's eyes as well. "I am sorry if I did something to make you believe me some monster, but I will try to fix whatever it is if you will let me go?"

Reka and Yuval stared at her. Yuval looked at Fenala with confusion as she spoke. Was this the same creature who was suppose to be a bloodthirsty monster. Reka simply stared at her with hatred in her eyes, the scales on her face rippling with red and orange hues. She would not be fooled by the Hashran. She knew that they were said to be cunning and intelligent, but would brutalize and kill anything once they got the chance.

"We will not let you go." Reka grabbed the rope at the front of Fenala's body and pulled her upright before pushing her backwards floating towards the wall of the cabin. There was a soft thud as her back hit the wall. Reka was quick to maneuver herself to float right in front of Fenala, their faces almost touching. "You can not fool me Hashran. I am a guardian and I will kill you in the end." Her words came out like venom as she pushed her webbed hand hard into Fenala's chest, making it more difficult to breathe. Fenala winced at the pressure, but then she noticed the glow in Reka's arm, the colors of pulsating light, as they gathered and moved into her hand. It was just like...-

"Reka!" Yuval's hand grasped Reka's shoulder as he pulled her off of Fenala. "We do not kill what cannot fight back." He looked warily at Fenala who returned his gaze with a hint of fear crossing her face. "Even if they are Hashran."

"I was only going to harm it, not kill..." Reka said with a huff as she swished her tail across Yuval's own and floated away, leaving Yuval and Fenala alone in the cabin.
