The day of the trial, Y/N, Paimon, and Aether were reviewing the case one more time. They looked over the notes carefully, trying to found anything that wouldn't make sense.

"This is so confusing," Said Paimon, her hands pulling her hair, "the whole thing is messing up Paimon's brain!"

"Relax" said Y/N with a soft smile.

"Let's take things step by step" Aether said.

"Good plan. Impossible things don't just happen, we'll get to the truth one way or another!" Paimon said with an unconvincing smile, like if she was trying to convince herself it was all gonna work.

Navia arrives with a smile, Silver and Melus behind her. "Relax, even if everyone else suspects Lyney and Lynette, at least we will be supporting them from the stands"

"Besides, I doubt Furina understands any more about what happened than we do." Navia said.

"Thanks Navia, for everything" Y/M smiled, "I could invite you for tea some day"

"That would be splendid!" Navia smiled at Y/N, "and best of luck!"

Y/N, Paimon, and Aether hurried to see where Lyney and Lynette were,

"Ah, you are back, how was the investigation?" Lyney asked.

"Eh... To be honest, you might be disappointed" Paimon sighed, her face saying that they didn't find much information.

"No, no, we are really  grateful you three were willing to help." Lyney smiled.

As they entered the court room (or at least that one part in the opera) Furina was smiling down and laughed when they entered the room.

Y/N looks over to where Furina was in, her outfit was the same and so was her attitude, reckless and annoying. She sometimes wishes that she could just scream at her sometimes, Furina can be rude at times.

"Well now, don't you all look disappointed? Don't tell me that your investigation came up empty-handed?" Furina laughed, her voice as dramatic as it has always been, "That was to be expected, of course. The guilty can never produce proof of their innocence."

Just because you are the Archon, doesn't mean you get to be mean to other people you little piece of-  Y/N thoughts were interrupted by Furina's laugh.

"But don't let that stop you, Traveler. I shall be terribly disappointed should you, my most anticipated foe, concede so easily."

Aether, and Paimon went and took their places, while Y/N and Navia sat down in the first row of chairs.

"Since both parties are present, I declare that the trial regarding the magic show incident is now in session." Neuvillette announced, the opera becoming quiet as he began to talk.

"Firstly, in order for the audience to understand the causes and results of the incident, could we please have Mr. Lyney explain the trick?"

Lyney nodded, "Sure, I'll explain, while my sister, Lynette, demonstrates how the magic trick works"

Lyney proceeded to explain the trick, while Lynette demonstrated how the trick works for the audience. The audience looked at each other, some of them gasped, and others smiled at how the magic trick worked.

"Thank you, Mr Lyney, you ran to, and remained hidden within, the magic box in the audience stands once the trick began, and thus could not have committed the crime. Is this correct?" Neuvillette said.

"Yes, Your Honor" Lyney responded.

"In that case, I call upon the prosecution — Lady Furina. Do you wish to refute his statement in any way?" Neuvillette said, turning to face Furina.
