He simply nodded in response to her question.

"Ehhhhhh-?!" she gasped in surprise.

"Is there an issue?" King Exian responded calmly.

The princess quickly apologized as she bowed to the king. Unaware of his identity as the ruler of Neriyam, infamous for crime and feared as a merciless monster, she hesitated. Recalling the rumors she had heard about him, she couldn't help but wonder about their accuracy.

She sensed a calm and peaceful aura emanating from him, despite his young age of 24. She found him remarkably handsome, and couldn't fathom why anyone would speak ill of such a striking man. Lost in Exian's eyes, she failed to notice his discomfort as she gazed at him intently.

Exian's attention was abruptly drawn as his servant called out to him, a moment not lost on Princess Levanna.

The princess, jolted from her thoughts, swiftly grasped Exian's hand and led him away. Exian, relieved to be freed from the grand party and his matchmaking servants, followed willingly. Lost in contemplation, he soon found himself in a grand bedroom, likely belonging to the princess. As she secured the door firmly, she turned to Exian.

She sat across from him, gracefully pouring water into a glass and offering it to Exian, who accepted and took a sip. Levanna and Exian exchanged glances, a palpable awkwardness hanging between them. Levanna decided to break the silence.

"Uhmm...I've never seen Your majesty before," she ventured.

"Mhm...I'm not fond of parties," Exian replied coolly, maintaining a formal demeanor.
